i consider myself a pretty good stringer, but thats not really the point. The thing is, i CAN'T string original evos! its really wierd actually. the pocket is always nothing and i dont understand it. ill try and do one of those and then do another one of my friends heads and ill have an amazing stick, and a crap pocket on the evo.

you probably need to stretch the mesh more because it's a wider head. You're used to stringing a pinched head and not having to stretch the mesh as much as you need to and just letting it stretch over time.

I hate stringing my G-Force...There are so few holes to use, your options are really limited...I love that stick and I love to string, but I hate putting a new pocket in it.

normally i would agree witht his, but mine is really pinched and the mesh is really stretched so that ins't the problem

have you tried the ball and knife trick? the only thing i can say is try to stretch teh mesh even more than usualy, maybe loosen up teh sidewalls a LITTLE, and break it in good.

i can honestly say that i have had the same problem but figured out why this his happening. where the sidewalls are located, the back part of the head gives a V shape. Most heads on the market today are now shaped or pinched in a U shape. If anyone understands that... the best example is the evolution " V " and the razer " U " . it is much easier to string a pocket in something that has parallel sidewalls.

with the evo, your going to need to double up on your diamonds as well.

i dont think its that hard to string any warrior head... now the fuse. thats a different story. thats probably one of the only heads that when i string it just doesnt feel or look right.

I had a problem stringing evos too, it just takes some practice... I had to string three or four before I got a good pocket.

One stick I havent strung yet and am kind of scared to see how it goes is an x2 with rock-itpocket. Right now I have three sticks with rock-itpockets, I'm just anxious to see how the x2 comes out

i have trouble stringing my torque, the wholes are too big for one knot to hold, so i always end up making these huge ugly knots, and there are too many options for where the sidewalls should go, which some people like but i like it to be simple

I have NEVER strung an evo pro correctly. It actually put me off lacrosse for a while because I got two brand new ones from ekeown last year, and I couldn't string them for stuff.

Heres my little trick, when you first stirng a head, make the sides walls loose for about a practice or two or just shoot around and pass and catch with one of your friends. Your pocket will become illleagle but that will let me the mesh stretch out a ton. Then once you have a illeagle pocket, then you just redo the sidewalls. Then presto, a very nice pocket. Here are some pics of my turn out a while back with my proton.

PS dont do this if your just strung a head and your using it for the first time in a game.

Oh, at the start, i didnt have double side walls, i had regular and i changed it. Here are the picks of it before i changed it.

in your situation, why i do is wrap the string around the hole 2 or3 times then do a normal knot

i have the same problem with evos

the way i fixed the problem was to stretch out the mesh like mad crazy.. and then string the top part of the sidewalls like a high pocket (theres a tutorial on i) and then string the rest of it very loosely

also.. unless your pocket is really stretched out.. use rolled shooters

took me awhile to get my evo pro working good, but once I did it's the shiz. My tourque was easy with medium soft mesh just string it tight and youget this pocket that is low mid and high it actually works really nice.

I can do 'em all pretty good, but g-force has given me a little trouble with mesh. how are those 2-hole sidewall sections on STX heads supposed to be done anyways?

You can just string through one of them and then put 2 diamonds wheres needed. that would give you a nice pocket. You can also just you double side wall.

just do every other hole. i like it cuz you can fit more than one string in each sidewall hole
