Its driving me crazy! I have 7d mesh on a torque. Whats the best shooting string / U V string layout thats going to have good hold, fairly quick release, medium whip, but WONT HIT OFF THE TOP!
What else can i do to stop it from hitting off the top?
THanks

keep your shooting strings the way they are right now. then string in one nylon shooter as tight as possible across the top.

look for some pictures its not uncommon to see that nylon...i couldnt find any deceint ones however..when i string mesh my preffered lay out is thee straight and then one nylon up top to stop lip there pretty easy to do..they can just look intimidating if youve never done one before start by threading the nylong threw and empty hole adn straing acrosse the head and not threw ne mesh... like this ---------- then put it threw an empty hole on the other side...ok no do that with one half of the string and leave the second half hanging out of one side knot the other side so it doenst slide aroudn...kk now just loop the nylon threw the mesh...with that straight part right against it...u should end up with a strght pice that rolles kinda like a rolled shooter...if u dont understand this and have aim..u can get me at tkdluva13 its very hard to explian so if i have to i'll show u pics...hope this helpss...

you could string it like it came from the factory where the mesh is pulled up onto the scoop halfway, Your topstring might not be tight enough, make the topstring really tight cause if it is to loose the the mesh becomes saggy and hits the plastic, you could also like other people have said just tighten the top shooter

string the top string a different way. do the top string like they do here http://www.e-lacrosse.com/stech102.html ignore the rest but do the top like that. its how ive done it for a long time since i hated lip
