Pinch Question

So I've been wanting to pinch my G-Force for awhile now. I hate how wide it is, and I think it'd look and perform way better if it was pinched the way I like my sticks. I have a little dilemma though. 2 of the rubber teeth are falling off, so naturally I just taped them up. Well I want to boil pinch my stick, the only question I have is would the rubber teeth either fall off, melt, warp, or bubble...anything like that? I'd rather keep the teeth on instead of having to rip them off, and if I'd have to take them off to pinch it, then I just wouldn't. Does anyone have any advice because any help would be awesome. I can get some pictures up to show the broken teeth if need be.

g-forces are barely wide enough to allow the ball to come in, why would you pinch it more

i'd bet they would warp but i dont know how much, i think you should just take them off

Wow you want to pinch the G-force more than it already is? That is a little extreme in my opinion. There are other alternatives to the boil pinch. A method I used for pinching heads I had already strung perfectly is to tie up the head to a little bit tighter than the desired pinch width. Then place the head in the back window of a car for a couple of days, maybe a week, and hopefully it will get hot enough over that time period. I then place it in my freezer for a day. Out it comes, pinched and good to go. Give it a try.

let me ask you this.....who here actually believes that pinching is illegal. BECAUSE, there was a thread a while back and some guy copied a part of the rule book and it was somethin like any alteration to enhance perfomance to the stick or crosse is illegal. (dont quote me, that was what i remember) but what do you guys think? and even if pinched to the correct measurements he said its will still be considered illegal.

I agree with Tman, you don't need to pinch a G-force, that would be pointless, and detrimental to your ability to catch probably, unless you are trying to go for a box pinch. Is that what you are trying to do?

Actually yes, I am going a box pinch. I don't use it for my field games and I'd rather have it more pinched for box. I know it already has an amazing pinch for field, but I need something a little skinnier for box. Just my preference that's all.

you dont need to pinch a g-force, but if you really want to, i'm noone's stopping you. my friend pinched his deuce and the rubber was fine. i've also seen dyed deuces and the rubber gets dyed a lighter shade of the color. the teeth would be fine, but as i already said, why would you want to pinch a g-force?

until we get an answer it's a legitimate question. a g-force will probobly be illegal if it is pinched.

As I've already said, I want to pinch it for box. The scoop is too big in my opinion for box and I think it would perform better pinched...I wasn't asking if anyone thinks I should pinch it or not, I was just wondering if it would get wrecked in the process.
