I did this stringing on a friends Blaze for him, Denim Blue + White splatter dye job, and Jimalax 5d Mesh with some white, white/blue, and blue shooters finishing it up...throws good by his standards, not enough whip for me but meh...

What do ya think? I strung it in like 20 minutes and i gotta say its been a good while since ive strung a mesh pocket so it was a bit sloppy by my standards...

In the top pictures theres a bit of glue i hadnt got around to taking off if anyone is wondering what that is...god i hate taking off the glue..it took me like 15 minutes to lay out the glue and the 10 in the dye...2 hours to get all the glue off..It sucks lol

the dye is nice, but the stringing is sloppy. I guess it's good for something done in 20 mins. Is that pinched, because the face looks like an answer.

Yea its pinched, i didnt do the pinch, my friend did it and it started to warp...he tried it in the microwave...it kind of flares in the back...like instead of how a blade or matrix flares like the opposite way..its kind of wierd...

nice dye but the stringing looks.. lopsided?
Haha that might just be the way im holding the stick or the way i pushed in the pocket cuz the pocket isn't lopsided...sloppy but not lopsided

well it really looks lopsided. your holding it fine and the shooters dont move that much when a pockets moved. im sorry to say but its deff crooked. try redoing the sidewalls near the top, that should make it straight

Oh, i get what you mean, shooters may look a bit off because when i strung them i tied them off around the part of the sidewall coming down...I made sure the mesh is even all the way down and everything like that...

Yea, like said above, it is kind of lopsided. Try doing one hole on the sidewall, then do the exact same thing to the other side. Also, make sure to like up the holes on the top string to avoid sidewaysness(is that a word?)

Cuselax, i assure you the mesh is not lopsided, it is just the end part of the shooters...
Besides if it was lopsided, i had so little mesh at the end because i used 4 mesh holes on top i would have run out of mesh on half of the pocket while the other side would be tied down...
I think it looks pretty bad.
I love you...now please add something constructive to that criticism so that i know what to fix next time

If you really want constructive criticism I'll give you some, but don't go crying on me. Personally, I would agree with cmm, it doesn't look too good. It looks lopsided, there is no way the camera played a trick on that, either your shooters are, or your mesh is, there is no denying that.
Second, stretch the mesh out more. Use the various amounts of tricks on this website (it's a great one, use it to your advantage). You shouldn't have to have sidewalls that loose, especially with 5D. You should be having an almost illegal pocket with tight sidewalls.
Third, if you want more room towards the end, don't fold it so much. You also don't have to have the mesh tied down that tight either.
So, personally, if this were my head, I would redo it all over. Take the mesh and condition it, stretch it out. Don't fold it so much when you start over again, tighten your sidewalls and make sure everything is symmetrical. Pound it and break it in.
The dye looks good; just take more time one your stringing. If you really like it, keep it, but there is plenty of room for improvement.

Well, thanks for your constructive criticism, it has always just been one of my irks when people say "that sucks" without giving any attempt at an explanation why, dont worry im not going to go "crying on you" as you said, I respect you for actually being constructive So Props for that lol...
I know the shooters are lopsided, and that is the way i strung it, the mesh is completely straight though, i am 100% sure of that...
I usually do stretch out the mesh, i use conditioner, and i do the double ball n butterknife trick, but this wasnt my stick and the person just said throw the mesh in and i will break it in so i can get my pocket right...
I definately agree with the sidewalls being loose, my old 5d on my Revolution was strung tight.
As for folding the mesh less, i chose to string it so that there were 4 mesh holes on top, that way it was completely even on top, 2 mesh holes being devoted to the middle leather holes on top, and the outside mesh holes being strung tight to the sidewall of the stick, and to the outside leather holes of the stick, There is no need for anymore mesh at the bottom because as you mentioned it is 5d mesh, and once it is broken in by my friend he will bring the bottom of the mesh in and tie it up 1 row above where it is now...if you look at the sideview you can see where it is kinked up a bit at the bottom, I anticipated this whole thing, and strung it so that when it is broken in the bottom will be tight...
Sorry if it seems like i am being defensive, (well i kind of am, but i do not mean to come off rude) Its just i dont want you to think that this is my typical stringing, If it were me, the bottom would be crazy tight so i could get a nice high pocket...
The dye is what i really wanted to show, this is my first Blue that came out actually blue not purple lol
