Hey i was just wondering how long you guys cut your sidewalls?

Around 15". 18" to be safe. (for a short stick o' course)

I cut mine about 20" or 21" and then trim if necessary.

Yeah i use about 20-21. and leave the excess.

thats for doing a trad where as when using mesh the sidewalls should be more like 21-22"

i dont measure i just look at it and say hmm this should be long enough. and use that. and if its too short then ill get a new string.
