I strung this up today and so far I really like it. It throws really nice. At first it threw too smoothly, but its softened up a bit and is throwing great now. I'm thinking about putting it in my game stick.

I know I kind of screwed up the side, but it doesn't effect anything.

no i think double trad. would have 2 strings going right next to eachother, i think.

looks great.
double traditional has 2 DIFFERENT sets of crosslace diamonds. not just more diamonds.
this is double trad:

actually at second glance that's not a great example of it.
with double trad you string the diamonds, then starting from the opposite side of the stick you string another set of diamonds in a mirror image of the first. i sure hope i dont have to string one just to take a photo of the darn thing

this is a good example of double trad, unfortunately its a bad scan from an old bacharach catalog
the white and blue strings show pretty clearly the 2 different sets of diamonds.

Ya, that's what inspired it. I'm surprised I had never thought of doing that. Great job on yours.
I've been shooting around in my backyard and I'm really liking it, so I'm going to put it on my game stick tonight or tomorrow. I'll make sure to post pics when I have time. The channel is gonna be really nice cuz my Viper has a crazy pinch on it.

hmm I always thought of double trad as something like this http://www.lacrosseunlimited.com//imagedisplay.cfm?image=/lu/images/product/Super429.jpg and http://www.lacrosseunlimited.com//imagedisplay.cfm?image=/lu/images/product/Super426.jpg (the channels and what not.)
See with these, it really shows the layering effect where as those Bacharach it is different. With the LU pictures one specific string is always infront of or behind the other one no matter which side it is coming from. Where as the Bacharach one, if you look at it (from the front view you provided) the string coming from the right going to the left is always on top, not depending on which string it is. If it was done the other way, the black string would always be behind the white or vice versa, not interchanging.
Maybe there is more than one way of double trad though, but I have always thought of it the way it is strung in those LU pictures and that is how I interpreted the way you described it (actually the first picture from e-lax is also how I imagined it).
Looks good though, one of the few select pockets I can put on a women's stick with out any real modifications.

Like all your pockets, this one is also very neat. I'm also liking that pinch on the oz along with the forest green crosslace.
Yeah i think Spenny's scan of the bacharach stringing is double trad but im not sure if there are other ways to do it. I always thought of it as stringing a 6D/any diamond trad pocket twice while making the strings overlap creating X's all over the pocket hence the name "double" traditional
