I want to take one colour of mesh, like a red, and have one side white. I was just woundering what I can do that wouldn't make the mesh harder/softer. Would bleech work? Or would it take away the colour from the other side as well?? What other options are there??

actually according to a thread in the rules forum, if i remember correctly, you could do that if each side was one solid color.
of course. if some ref sees your stick and says no way, its not going to do you any good that Lax_Ref said its ok here.

first off hes canadian so it is colour.
secondly you can have as many colours you want as we dont use american rules
third bleach, spray paint, and dye you make it harder for some time but would eventualy break in

try putting duct tape or something one one side to keep the dye off it then dye it whatever color

The dye may run trhough the mesh to the other side though as the mesh absorbs the color

That's the main problem. I kinda want to try using a type of cleaner withbleech in it. Maybe even a spray. Hopefully it will work out if I take my time with it(as in a few days probobly).

Get a lot of those little tube like things women put inbetween their toes when they get a pedicure and put it through each hole....you can then spray paint it, i guess

spray paint would make the mesh ultra hard. like a rock. take a colores piece of mesh and dip one side in bleach.

No, depends on where you're from. Go to England and tell everyone that they're spelling "colour/color" wrong.
And its ironic that you tried to correct his spelling when you yourself spelled "color" wrong.

How about this. Get a piece of white mesh. Put your dye in a bucket big enough to dip the elongated mesh piece in. Dip it down in halfway like you want. Pull it back out and hang it from the white side to dry. That way the liquid would run downward ala through the already dyed side and it would not run onto the white side. Just a suggestion.

I want my poket one colour and the outside another. If I do it that way, I'm worried about the dye going through to the other side. So far I think taking my time with some bleach is the best option. When I get a chance to try this out, I'll let everyone know how it turns out and what I had to do. Don't expect it soon though, I fell behind in school and it's going to take some time to catch back up. This is getting put on hold for a bit.

get a really flat baking tray and line it with tinfoil. make up a small amount of dye and pour onto the foil so that its only about 1mm deep. Lay the mesh flat for a few hours (maybe a day? keep an eye on it though) Have no idea if that would work but it might

Did you think that the color might bleed through all the mesh making one side (let's say you used red) red, and the other a lighter shade of red? I'm thinking that's what would happen if you somehow got it to work in the first place.

might well do, if you use the powder dye though and make it up quite thick so that its almost like paint, it might stop the capilary action that would cause it to bleed through to the other side
