The middle is a bit sloppy, but it throws with almost no whip, and has great hold, and accuracy.

i'm curious, I've done some big words, they are great, is the head much lighter without the leathers? what do you have in the middle there? a twisted pita-like channel? do you necessarily need a channel? I have one big word with only one shooting string, so I know you don't need much, but does this one have any whip at all? (you need some whip, don't you?)...does the ball come off the plastic?

looks pretty sloppy to me. nice concept, but i would redo it if i were to use it in a game. probly has sick hold, right?

maybe i'm an idiot and i misse dthem, but are you going to put shooting strings in? as soon as it breaks in a little bit, the top will probably loosen up some, and it'll start throwing off the plastic

I'm not sold. For all the time and effort that would take, I really can't imagine it'd be any better than well-strung soft mesh with properly placed shooters.
A for effort though, just tighten up that middle section and it looks pretty cool!

break it in and take more pictures. it looks like the nylons would shift everywhere in the middle. if you dont have shooters, the ball wont roll out consistantly. your knots will tighten and shift. like they said, A for effort, but ive seen too many of it's nylon-pocketed cousins get crappy as soon as you throw with them for more than a day. Do you trust that pocket? Would you take a crank shot at a goal near your house with that thing? You are on the right path, just undo the middle and do it again til it looks straight. if you restring the middle like 3 times til you find a neat symmetrical way, you'll be glad you did. it's almost there

i tried doing that mine came out with a HUGE POCKET and i put it in my icon it has sick hold eh? I now am making mesh with crosslace and strigning it like normal mesh to see if it will make it less sloppy.
