My first custom stringing: Mesh X, criticism please

I just finished my first custom stringing and need some constructive criticism...

make it deeper and full throughout the pocket. It looks like you made the pocket, then pounded one particular area a bunch of times.

the mesh should go farther down.

yeah make the pocket a little bigger. i like the saddle a lot. nice work for ur first custom string job

String the center with a ball and knife in it so that the part between the mesh and the coils pulls down the coils. clean it up also. it looks pretty dirty. The top string that runs through the mesh has to run from one side of the head to the other.

On e lacrosses mesh x theres coils on the top too

its a decent first attempt, but the mesh sould go down further and and string the trad alot bigger that will give you a deeper pocket and a better channel. and make the pocket more rounded not just in one place, and the mesh-x works best with hard mesh or a diamond mesh.

okay....well you want critisism. if i were you id redo the entire pocket. i have to go to meeting but ill most something better later.

Yes, very good for a first attempt, but I would redo some parts, especially the trad on the outside. Make the zigzag tighter, instead of { make it more like <, if that makes any sense.

There are too many coils on the side so that is why the coil are bent. but i say its decent for a first try. Have you strung just reg trad/pitas before?

no i just did one hard mesh pocket before. thats all...

my pocket here is made of hard mesh. well if i make the pocket any deeper it will become illegal here in germany. anyway: i try to use ur help on my pocket!!! :-)

if someone has any help and advice for me, just write it down here...

ahh i forgot to say that it is dirty cause i just played with it in practice

1. how do i brake this pocket right

2. everytime it gets wet at practice or games my pocket "shrinks". what can i do against this?

First of all, run the pocket under hot "shower" water to rinse out the dirt, then dry it with clean paper towels, after it's dry use a ball and your "elbow grease" and break in the pocket, it is the best time to break it in, so take advantage of that.

aight buddy.....Get a new pieve of hard mesh, Redo the thing make the mesh go down a few more diamonds. Get some new leathers. Your coils are shapped fine. And go to www.e-lacrosse.com and find the tutorial. It will show you how to do the top correctly. Because it looks likes it hits off the top misseably.

a good attempt at my mesh-X, you need some practice though, the coils are a little lengthy and you don't wrap the lace around the leather enough, it's strung as a interlocking lace to hold in place. Hope that helped and good luck you.
