ball stop damage???

if you boil a head to pinch it ..will the boiling effect the ball stop???

yes, the adhesive will melt onto the stick, which leaves a sticky residue. it's pretty hard to take off, so you may want to take the ball stop off first. then, wash the head to clean any remains of adhesive. if you don't wanna bother with all this, just use goo gone.
