I live in the Kingston area and there are no stores that want anything to do with lax. All of the stores say that they are getting rid of their gear and not getting any more. The one store that was the most interested in the sport said that there was bad blood and they weren't going to deal with lax companies anymore. The only gear I can find is older debeer. Is this sort of thing happening elsewhere and does anybody know what this "bad blood" is about?

I don't know but I'm in Victoria and am having a hell of a time finding stores that sell lax stuff, especially girls stuff. Everyone's getting rid of or cutting down on their stock. I'm going to Vancouver today so I'm going to have a check around there. I also have a friend at Queens so I'll talk to him and see if he knows where to find stuff in Kingston. Some of his friends play so they might know.

Thanx
We had some guys out from queens last winter. Maybe they played. Too bad we couldn't get enough players to go back this year. We lost half the guys to college and university.

Does Nationals Sports have flares? There are a bunch of guys looking for them and we are going to have to travel to get them. Also, proboss seems expensive compared to the places we got our gear from(when we still could). Is that just the site or are they the same prices in the store?

It's not as easy as just going there. The closest National Sports are in the GTA or Ottawa and lax stores are in the GTA or states. There isn't a whole lot available to me without driving for about 4 hours there and back and I don't have my own car.

A road trip to Toronto is in your future, Lax4Ever.
Lax Shack (Pro Boss' real store) specializes in box laX equipment, and has the best selection I've seen anywhere.
Only line they don't seem to carry is Brine, but they've got all the other stuff...Warrior, DeBeer, STX, and Mohawk.

well rockstar good news, asof last weekend p-boss has brine too, meaning they have it all now, but they have cut down on warrior (too small demands for that, unless it is fall league field lax...) but she has all stx debeer, low mohawk :-(, and full stock of brine.....
Hey lax4ever, did u think of getting a mohawk stick, ti handle for me is like 50$ man!!!!!, and its box tough

Proboss is the best...I went on sunday. They have the best selection. I got a new facemask, a guru (really fun) shorts and they ordered my warrior meteor and will have it by friday...They are the best store. Its worth the drive up here just for them!

I've had one for a little over a year. One of the guys from the team when to MIL and I had them pick one up for me. It's on my cyber.
My family went to the GTA and I had them pick up Icon gloves and I also got an Intrepid. I really like the stick for the price. Since it is the best thing we can get in Kingston, over half of the team uses them.

they're great, the only upside to a triotn is more offset (which players like/dislike...tom ryan had a intrepid and not a triton the whole time......) The new torque and icon heads is the same thing...... the other difference is the double sidewall of the triton which I dislike because you cannot pinch the head real narrow becasue that double sidewall traps the ball..... I prefer the icon over torque this year......but my new weapon is gonna ber a mission head and a mohawk shaft!!!!! I am going back to MIL after 2 years of seperation, I found out no other can pinch and play box rough like MIL!!!! Not even the stx box which i liked until it snappe in a low stick checking scrimmage!!!!!!
