no, warrior owns you! warrior kicks ***, man.

latinbabe, do you even own any men's heads? 'cause if you don't, you're not in a position to speak. if you're talking about the women's heads, my bad, i wouldn't know.

Yeah it is. That too would void the warranty. I think that I'll go buy myself a nitrous.

could i have your razer for dying?

a nitrous is a good choice, but why not get another razer?

Razers (and most other warrior sticks) just break easy. That's really their only drawback.

smitt5168

GET AN EVO

yea warrior heads are well constructed and formed but they're durability is just ugh. If you want get another razor but if I was in your position i would either get a Brine: matrix, nitrous,cyber...or a STX: profile, x2 and proton (they may be wide but you can just pinch them and you'll be all set to go)

Seen that happen too often with Warrior product. Buy something tough next time.

Pinching certainly didn't help the strength....the crack on the right side looks very close to where you would have tied the head up.

In the meantime, superglue will rejoin the pieces alright, but won't stand up to a crisp pass.

So, first superglue the flucker back together.

Then buy the all Canadian woodstick repair kit (roll of fiberglas cloth and some resin). Wrap the cloth around the cracked areas, apply the resin, let it all set, and then sand it smooth.

The resulting product is probably not game-legal, but will be a fine stick for rainy or cold weather practices.

Bonus - I bet the fibreglas reinforced part is stronger than the rest of Warrior's head.

yeah well i have a razor and it s the best stick ive got. ive nev er used any other stick other than warrior. to hear that it broke is making me nervous. i like the idea of buying one and taking the receipt back. i would have never have thought of that.

well, i have seen many Warrior jetts and vixens break during practice, and yes im talking about girls heads. they are just not durable enough.

that sucks. How beat up is the head? Is it pinched at all? Let me know, shoot me a pm. If it isn't too beat up, there may be something we can do.

i don't buy into the myth oof warrior heads breaking easier then other compnaies
all heads can break it is a fact fo the game

two words to fix your problem... DUCT TAPE!!! man thats the best invention ever :agree

laxerattacker
02-20-2004, 09:32 AM
i dont think duck tape can fix that dude...that head is totally hopeless and useless...just go buy a new razer and wait a few weeks and take back the broken one(clean it up a bit and make it look new) then u have two new razers!:agree tricky trocky

LatinBabe
02-20-2004, 10:48 AM
yeah, i have seen many people do that around here.

make sure that you un-pinch your head before you take it back..(just hang the parts over steam for 15 minutes and it will go back to its original shape.)

All heads break, yeah, but some heads break more than others. Also, its about the vunerable weak points. Warrior Razers seem to break on the sidewalls, while the scoop is fine. I've broken three octanes in two practices, just on the scoop from doing long passes and the ball hitting it just right. All of the other octanes and protons have broken because of a hole near the back of the stick where the sidewall string goes in.

The oldest stick i have is and old excalibur...that thing is damn near unbreakable. I haven't tried out my razer, hype, and prodigy, and haven't broken a g-force yet, although the dye is coming off on the plastic teeth because that's how we check...I'll bet it hurts...poor lil attackmen...

There was an STX head made back in the early 90s that nearly all broke. It was only on the market for a few months. I broke 2 for a friend and now I can't remember the name.

all heads break. That happens when they're used to catch a hard rubber ball traveling at 60-100 mph. Sucks, but it happens. I've broken many and always buy a new one knowing eventually it's gonna break.

The problem is that warriors seem to break more often, outside of the octane-long pass-cold weather mess.

LatinBabe
02-20-2004, 11:06 AM
its not a myth for yall who wish to call it one...warrior heads attribute much of their positives to their low weight and tight configuration. But this also makes it inherintly weaker since they have less "mass" to counter-act a check.

02-20-2004, 11:25 AM
it's true taht warrior heads break easier especialy the blade and razer my friend has broken three blades one was passing with me it snapped when he took a shot on the goal it sucked for him and i've seen four razers break in a game on poke checks it's a bad scene go stx debeer or brine i'd say debeer at teh most durable heads

laxbabe2121
02-20-2004, 11:45 AM
man guys, all heads are gonna break. just go out and buy a new one. its not a big deal, don't take the risk of basically "stealing" another razer. again, its all up to preference, if you like warrior gear, cool, if you don't, then its still cool. if you think warrior heads break easily, then stay away from them. it all depends on what kind of environemnt you play in, what style you play, and what kind of abuse your stick gets.

I'm a surfer from florida. Theres this stuff called suncure. It's like a fiberglass resin mix that you put on your board to repair it from dings. All you do is put it on where it's broken. Leavie it out in the sun for like 10 mins, then sand it down and your done.Click Here (http://shop.store.yahoo.com/valsurf-store/scupore.html)

Sounds a lot like the Canadian effect. Try 'em and see what happens, it might just work!

I reccomend, if you liked it a lot, just getting another Razer. No need to change to get used to a new head or anything like that. If your willing to look at something else I reccomend the Profile, Edge X, or Tourque. If you like Warrior check out the Finalizer. If you dont have cash to spend like that the Profile, Proton, Edge, and Triton are all good options too.

smitt5168
02-21-2004, 01:55 PM
edge x and finalizer suck. triton is a good buy for any position. torque i like, very light. i'd go nitrous or evo. i'll say this until everyone has one. those are the two best heads out there!!!!!!!!

mustang_lax
02-21-2004, 02:03 PM
I agree with Smitt . I have used a torque, evo, and nitrous (dont own them just used them) and I must say they're great heads. I'm not a big fan of warrior heads but the evo was pretty good. The torque is fabulous and the nitrous, IMO, is one of the best heads on the market

I said if HE likes Warrior to check out the Finalizer, not that I liked Warrior and that head.

Razer = Awesome, i say stick with what you are used to.

I went to look for a nitrous today, but the one of the only stores around here that sells lax stuff was selling it as a complete stick, so I think that I'll just order it. I really didn't like my razer too much to buy another but it was a pretty good stick none the less.

If you liked the razer a lot but want a stronger head, try out the profile. It is a great head and is very similar to the razer.

You know what, through all my research on lax sticks, I have noticed one huge difference:STX and DeBeer make the most durable sticks around. I mean Warrior has good gear, but man, the heads don`t last long. And Brine, tell me about light, but can you say "warp"(as in the stick warps after a short use). But if you get a STX or DeBeer head, then you can use it at any position and it is durable. Granted there are the fair shares of defects, but still, STX and DeBeer make the best.

powellman21
02-23-2004, 11:35 AM
no ya need to stick to warrior. there the best. you say it may not last long but ive had a razor and a blade and they lasted a long time of all year round play. when my razor finally broke it was because it was my fault. i broke it going to washington dc becausei put it under atleast two hundred pounds of funiture because i didnt know it was there.

BrineF-22
03-09-2004, 07:40 PM
yea defientely go with a Brine Matrix or a STX X2
