I have a couple of site-related questions.
1) How do you parse out the quote when quoting another post? So that you can quote a snippet, respond; quote, respond, etc.
2) I've had problems sometimes when composing a post for a long time (say at least 15 minutes) or when trying to cut and paste text into a post, that when I go to Submit Reply my computer just locks up and I get a Not Responding message on my web browser. I can't begin to tell you how depressing it is to lose all that hard work, because it's to late to save anythig but the small tidbit in the typing window with a screen print. I had written a witty and informative reply to the untrained questions and diatribe from UNCDefense, all lost. AArgh!
Anyone else ever notice this or had it happen? Any known issues to be aware of?

You know how you have [.quote=LaxRef.] and [./quote.] (remove the periods, which I had to put in there to keep it from actually treating the word "and" as a quote) at the beginning and end of the quoted material? Just break up the quoted text into separate sections by putting in some returns, then put those quote tages at the begining and end of each section.
This also works for quoting the rules; I like to put "NCAA Rule 7-6" or whatever in the QUOTE= part for clarity.

I've never had this problem. You could try a different browser. Also, on a long post, copy the replay window before you click send just in case you freeze up.

We'll give it a try!

Yes, I'll put that on my Reminder list, next to "back up the hard drive before you have an unforunate crash". Doh!
