Just look at the difference between the Warrior Razer/Blade (Flared) and the Warrior Evo Pro..

if you look at a razer or a blade, the flared sidewall is the part that seems to twist and face up.

There are a couple of threads on this subject already and they even detail why the sidewalls are flared. Check them out.

Basically the jist of flared sidewalls is that the bottom part of the sidewalls on the head "flare in" giving it more of a pinch on the bottom of the head. This way you have a wider catching face, and still get all the ball retention a pinched head. Search next time though.

Yes, that is true, but I would also just like to point out that the evo pro has flared sidewalls, too, just not as much as the razer and blade.

The Original Razer's flared sidewalls are just as defined and noticeable than the Razer Pro. And the Blade has the far most noticable flared sidewalls, much more than the Razer Pro.
