There was a nice article in the D&C (local newspaper in Rochester) today about the rattlers and the 2nd pick in the draft.

it would be best for baltimore to pick up johnson. the only one goalie they may put in is scherr. but i think we all saw that johnson is better than scherr. they have millon and marechek at attack. question is: do they need powell? same for rochester, without carcaterra, shouldn't they pick up johnson? but three powells on one team is unheard of and would definitely be a site to see.

scherr is pretty damn talented. but i would have to say that he isn't too agile. he started as a sophomore, but murtha took his spot in his junior year.

he left hopkins as a junior. hes not good enough to be a starter in the MLL

Did anyone notice the part about Carc leaving, I mean he let in a terrible amount of twos but, rattlers can't go anywhere with Coon.

At least Coon can make some saves, and isn't a midget.

but, remember what he said about baltimore trying to trade out of the 1st spot, this is what i think the deal is
Rattlers Get: 1st pick
Two 3rd or 4th round pick
Ok player
Bayhawks Get: 2nd pick
One of the Rattlers goalies

baltimore will take Johnson, they are just trying to screw the Rattlers.

There not actually going to trade there just trying to sucker the Rattlers in to so they can get the person they might get anyway

I cannot wait to see how the draft shakes out. THat could really stir the ol' pot this year. The league, b/c it's so small, is very close to parity and with a few picks either way, the Rattlers can have a breakout year. I know I mock them but B'port could put themselves on the map as well. I have to root for Boston this year, so many solid guys.

every team has many solid guys, but if u were to judge it by that, I would have to go with the Lizards

hey man, i think Longest is right...Cannons are gonna have the most talented lineup...especially with 5 of the first 12 draft picks...thats unheard of...i mean, look at the possibilities..lee zink ,chris passavia, kevin boland, ryan boyle, walid hajj, connor ford, sean lindsay, brett hughes..its unbelievable...i cant wait til this year! as for who the hawks are gonna take, its tillman...no doubt
