Because of the many threads titled as
"OMGGG I FOUND NEW 2006 GEAR FOR SALE!>!?!?!"
I decided we need a thread for all of this. To tell you the truth, it's not that big of a deal you found some 2006 gear, but post it in this thread if you feel the need. I just have seen almost 20 of these threads, and they are trashing the equipment forum.

Did anyone else notice that the proton power has been priced really cheap? I saw it in the GA catalogue for $78 unstrung..........that mostl likely means its gonna be less than 60 unstrung at lacrossedigest........delicious.....I really want to get one.

Ya, well i guess cause the proton has never been expensive, they didn't want to rack up the price. I am dissapointed, in the GA catalog the stx sc+ti. premier shaft is 170!
o, well lax.com has the warrior mll pads and criss cross shafts in. LD has the new gait stuff actually available to ship.

Yeah Im not shelling out $270 for a stx premier pole.........the howitzer pole is MUCH better.......because If I can break a stx ti in half, i know i can break a premier.
I will def. pick up a proton power. Im just waiting for LD to put it on their site.

I got the truth from lax world a few weeks ago. strung it up with some jima hard mesh. throws like a charm in practices.

I just ordered the Stx ti+sci, after talking to acouple people who have used it and said it was godly i thought to give it a try.

i threw a pulse with a swizzle Ti. It was pretty sweet. Not worth all the extra money, but still seemed like quality stuff

I went to the lax.com store as well as a sports authority in the area and i saw some of the new gear. I saw the pulse, primer, kannon, carolina blue kpro, criss cross, exodus gloves, flight gloves, and the chopper gloves
The primer and kannon are both fairly light. Around the same weight as the blade. I can't remember which head but one of them had a little plug like on the liquid. My guess is the kannon and that plug fits into the krank shaft.

So, i went to the my local store last weekend and here's my input on the new gear:
Flights: very tight, not too protective. The palm was great, it feels like STX palms which are very responsive. The cuff is long and not as bad as they say, but i feel velcro is superior.
Exodus Gloves: Very small. They're covered in carbon fiber/hard plastic, but it seems that there isn't much foam underneath. The cuff is crap. The palm sort of feels like under armor, which is a love or hate feature. Flexibility is comparable to Defts.
My Take: If you have small hands, a fetish for tight fitting gloves and a lot of cash, give 'em a try.
Exodus Arm gaurds: Ok, these things look nice in pictures, but they're very different up close. It's like having a slab of cardboard strapped to your arm. Sure they'r protective, but not what you'd expect. Flexibility is non-existent.
My Take: Just stay away!
Supercrosse Pro AG's: These felt pretty nice. Flexible, yet protective. Similiar to the MLL ag's. They have Brine's new liner, which is a big improvement over their old spandex stuff. My take: If you liked the old supercrosses, you'll like these.
MLL Pro Arm Gaurds: Protective and flexible, but they don't exceed in either category. Feel somewhat bulky, which is a turnoff. My take: Stick with g-forces.
KPro Criss Cross: I personally find the grip barely noticeable. I don't feel that it is grippy enough to make much of a difference. It's a love or hate thing.
My take: It's price is similiar to normal Kpro's, so it might be worth it to some. I'll be sticking with tape.

ya i went to my local store today, D1CKS, and watch out evo pro and revo pro buyers, they are now as wide as the orig evo and revo, platinum dpoles do look sexier than ever with the new design , i just ordered my bday present, from my mom and my gf...i got a warpath, platinum pole, spartan core sp's, and baught myself another platinum
i doubt they are as wide as the originals because you were probly looking at the originals

MY local LU has the studs and i must say they really are great...only had them on for alittle but very nie flexibilty and really comfortable, they fit my hands very nicely

im going to D*cks tomorrow, hopefully they will have some new stuff in, i want to try out some of the stx gloves, cause alll of them look to be pretty good, or atleast have a lot of
lust, and The Evo Pro and Revo Pro are wide? dang big changes, I want to see one of these Warpaths, looks to be exactly like a bionic.
and i got a tournement this weekend, and they will defiantly have all the new 06 gear.
does anyone know why a Axe c405 in the new GA catalogue is so dam expensive?

ahh okay, there wasnt to much new stuff at d*cks, the primer is super pinched, but really flimsy. they had some of the rival stuff, seemed like good starting gear. the had some of the new PLatinums im not really sure if i like the new look.
i picked up a Razer on a Platinum

I went to this MP thing at my local lax place. They had the new 7075 swizzles. They are so light, when put on a truth there is nothing lighter.

do u know wht store has the proton power IN STOCK for cheap. GA has it for $72 w/ free shipping but not IN STOCK and LD has them for $62+$10 shipping but not sure if IN STOCK. PLEASE help, i neeed that head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea they arre studs. sick is similar to the wat the superfreaks say pimp in small letters on thhe cuff. and u might have read it wrong it might have seen STUD written in wired letters
on superfreaks it definetly doesnt say pimp on it it says superfreak
