The Gobbler-Thanksgiving Indoor Lax Tourney
Is anyone going to this or considering going? Or have you gone to this tourney before?
When:November 27
Where: Brookfield, WI at Brookfield Indoor Soccer Complex
Heres some info about it:
6 team indoor lax tourney
teams play box rules - no boarding or cross checking
Seventeen player maximum roster
Teams will play 2 games in bracket to qualify for Championship
Youth Divison-games start at 10AM
High School Divison-games start at 3PM

umm those arent box rules. but otherwise sounds pretty good

He meant box rules, with the exceptions of those two, I would guess.

Oh yea i suppose but then it would suck i say allow crosschecking but not boarding

That's what I've gathered...The rules were listed as an exception

how can u call it box lacrosse when theres no crosschecking or boarding. God the American way of playing our game makes me mad.

ya im not sure why they took away crosschecking but i guess thats jus how the tournament is set up.

I played in a tournament like this last year... it's like a modified field game inside on a soccer turf. Around the same size as a hockey arena. But it's really similar to box besides it being inside, the nets were field nets with a field crease and everything. I think it's the same idea as the tourny I played in.

no i dont think its like that, because i forgot to mention the nets are 4x4.
