Ok, so i just went to my local lax store to look at equipment and i saw only the brine and Gait stuff. The first thing he showed me was the Flights:

I tried them on. There VERY small. I tried on them and the 13'' feel like 12'' super freaks, i think it was bad on brines part. They also felt really light and had no protection. The next thing i saw was the new Mikey Powell swizzle:

The first thing i saw about the shaft was the grip. The grip that was on the Ti shaft was gone, its now just a regualr shaft but with a lot of decals. It gives some extra grip but not enough i think. The second thing i felt was how light it was. It was pretty light, almost as the Kpro. I think that it will be as strong if not stronger than the Kpro. After that i saw the new Diesil by Gait:

This thing was the widest thing ive ever saw. Then he told me that this was a begginers head. This i never expected. The shooters were actually the plastic ones taht someone pointed out. The head i also noticed was stiff and its onset, weve not seen one of these in a while. Then i saw the Pulse:

The head was pretty stiff. The rubber things are actually really strong. I had to punch it pretty hard to even get the band to move about 1/2 and inch. It comes with 1 repalcement and 1 thats not as strong. 3 in total. Since the pocket wasnt broken in, i couldnt tell if it was capable to get a nice pocket, but all new factory strung heads are like that.

From laxattack888:

I also tried on the Exodus MP gloves, and the 13" fit like 12" superfreaks. It was almost ridiculous, I had to put the individual wrist guard on first, which is tight to put on, even for my skinny little wrists. The gloves themselves are comfortable, but similar to the flights, the 13" fit like 12". I had to jam my fingers into them, then disperse my hand when I got my fingers into the right slots. Once on, they were almost constricting, but comfortable. Also, the opening around the wrist is too tight to fit the independent wrist guard into (smaller than even the Defts!) so I had to slide the guard up my hand so I could move my wrist upward with the glove on. The palms, silk or not, were really comfortable, but overall the Exodus don't nearly beat the Mac Daddy ltd's or even the regular Mac Daddies in comfort. You think the Superfreaks are tight, wait until you try on these guys. The only thing I left out is that they're tanks. Tight, small little tanks. They are covered in Carbon Fiber plates, about as twice as much as the G-Forces, but imagine 3 plates per finger, Supercrosse knuckles, and then the MP isignia. That's about it.

Finally, the MP armguards. I tried on the Mediums because I wear a Warrior Medium Ap, but the Exodus Mediums are like larges, and the larges too big for anyone. These Mediums fit like I could put both my arms into one pad, and they only bend at two points, and if I slid my arm over, it would only bend at the same spot on the elbow. They were comfortable, and just like the gloves, coated in Carbon Fiber, but for the prices, I just don't think either one is worth it.

Im just letting you guys know this just for refrence. THIS IS NOT A REVIEW! I actually was thinking about getting the Pulse but ended up getting a Evo Pro.

i know yogi doesnt know anything, he just knows basic things. The only stupid things he tells me is like, this is very good head, and thats it. He might be talking about the Evo Pro, or the blade. Both i think are very good though.

Well the flights were design for defensemen who wanted minimal padding and a close fight and super flexible. So in that persepective it succeeded but like other peoples first impression of the flights they said the cuffs were not flexible enough.

I just got the Pulse. I like it more than my Finalizer, I'm using the grey band on the middle, and it is soo awesome, you guys have no idea. It was $90 unstrung with tax at South Swell, but I think that it may actually be worth it. Also, unlike what you'd think, it is stiff. I don't know if it's d-head stiff, but man it is just all around great. The rubber band also works, it gives better ball retention and also better catching, especially on a hard pass. I think that it is all around a great head, and with some Catapultion that I put into it, I got a very nice, almost illegal pocket, and the rubber band only makes the pocket bigger when passing or shooting. Highly recommended for Attack or Midi, but I don't know about d yet. The best part of this head though is that it's 4.5 oz. It's Brine's Torque.

I also tried on the Exodus MP gloves, and the 13" fit like 12" superfreaks. It was almost ridiculous, I had to put the individual wrist guard on first, which is tight to put on, even for my skinny little wrists. Overall, I am very impressed with the Pulse, and the Truth looked pretty good too, but I just don't know about the Truth's durability. As for the MP line, just like the interesting Swerve and the "Titanium" Swizzle that dents like Aluminum, I say it hasn't gotten any better.

Quality information right here, even though I don't think any head is worth 90 unstrung, unless it's unbreakable and is irreplacable. Also, there's some clear evidence that Brine is lying about their head weights, being that they listed some of their old heads as significantly lighter as they were previously listed.

One question-in terms of length, how did the MP armguards fit? were they also very long for a medium?

One other thing to note on the MP gloves is their terrible ventilation. No vent holes at all, and no mesh in their palms means that your hands are pretty much lying in a sauna.

Yeah, not only were the MP ap's that wide, but they also were about as long as the Warrior PC 6.0 Elbow Guards (the 3-piece ones).

What do you think of the palm material on the exo's? I felt them today in a store and they felt iffy to me, like tape would tear them to pieces.

I got a Pulse for only 50 and put hard mesh in it. Its a great head. You sometimes can feel the band flexing. I play attack with it and i love it, its amazing

now, either you were really bored and kept going back through the forums, or you searched and found this. If you found it in a search, great! but what you should notice it that this thread is 6 months or so old. most of this info is outdated.
