It's mandarin season!!!!! I peel off the skin, sometimes biting off a little chunk to get me started. Then i slowly coaxe the sections away from each other and jam them in my mouth as fast as possible so i get to eat as much as i can. Satsumas are better though.

I love clementines. I'm the master at peeling them from all the delicious clementines I have devoured. I'm also good at peeling boiled eggs, but that's another story for another time.

I just realized that mandarins aren't clementines.

Clementines are the best.

i like satsumas. they are way easy to peel, seedless, and tasty. i like oranges too. but only when they have a thick peel. and if you think oranges suck you have never had an orange just picked off the tree in hawii. also my aunt in hawii has a tangerine tree.

mmm my mom bought some yesterday. Seriously, I can eat like 10 in one sitting..
Peel and then eat by the slice.but since they are so small you can eat like the whole thing in a bite or two.
OH MY I LOVE THEM
and clementines
and satsumas
even though I don't really know the difference..they're just YUMMMY

Blood oranges are found across the Mediterranean, particularly in Italy, Spain and Israel. The outer rind has an orange to redish hue and the meat inside is very, very deep red, giving the juice the color of blood. Rumor has it that a Spanish Duke loved them so much on a visit to Sicily he invaded the island and took it for Spain purely for more of the fruit (that and Sapin was trying to get closer to the Pope in order to edge France out), later importing them to Spain to set up groves there.
