Don't any of you ever have an off day when playing... This morning was one of those days for me. We had captains pratice and played a scrimage. I was positioned at the top of the box because i have great accuracy and a hard shot. So a fellow midfielder blasts past his defensemen and the defensemen fell ( he pulled an anklebreaking splitdodge). So the defenseman guarding me slides and he then passes the ball to me. I shoot as hard as I can.. PING!!! hits the top right corner. This happened to me like 6 times in all:cussing

Last season our entire team had a terrible game in a tounament. We were all beat up from the day before and had problems finding the arena. When we finnaly got there, we rushed out on the floor and started the game. We lost to a team that we should have had no problems with. The worst part is that we played a great game the day before against a team we were never going to beat and a good game against a team that we could have won against but didn't.

I hate off days nothing gets me more frustrated and when I get frustrated I just play worse. Defense sucks to have an off day on because you feel like your just letting the whole team down. One game I was just having a terrible day I was getting beat by my attackmen almost every time he touched the ball through the first quarter. The team was a lot better then us but still. Then by time the second half came I was throwing all cheap shots and late hits and I got a ton of penaltys that game. I can't help it when I do bad I just start getting penaltys and it sucks for everyone.

what happend to me today really pissed me off. ive been running and practicing all week really hard. i played really well, i got seven goals and two assists, but my team played like crap and we are usually good. we lost to a crap team 12-9. and the most annoying part is, i got injured with 2minutes left when we had a chance of winning (score was us 9-10). this kid killed my lef and it feels like ****, it hurts rite now. next week is playoffs! hope we can show up.

One of the reasons I've been called a postwhore. It happens. I hit the post at least 4 times per game. Widen your target zone and you'll be fine.

Go back tomorrow and have a better day.

I had a ****ty day at practice yesterday. We were having a scrimmage and I beat my guy twice but both times lost the ball trying to shoot even though I wasn't even hit, it was like the ball would just bounce out of the pocket for no reason. I made up for it later though with an offhand shot through the goalies legs that bounced up and got the inside part of the pipe :)

our captain took a shot between the legs of the goalie but ended up hitting him in the nads...what a great welcoming for our freshman goalie :D

ooooh....yeah, during our game on thursday i took a shot and hit the goalie square in the face mask from the crease line. she fell backwards and landed on her butt while my teammate got the rebound and scored. the whole team and sidelines from our school couldnt stop laughing till the end of the quarter! (well there was the 2 minute horn just before it)

yea i do too..even at practices. Never know when one of the guys sneaks behind you and "accidentally" nails you with his stick and even gives you a lil jab like so:

yeah, i am not too sure about what most people believe. D women/men still do need as much protection as the rest of the field. all to often i hear of D men getting seriously hurt b/c they didnt think they'd get hit.

yea thats why when the refs not lookin every once in a while give the defenseman a lil tap and he'll be sure to step back away from you...thus you get free room to score... It ain't illegal if you ain't caught :laugh

try that crap on me a attackman butt ended me real hard when are team was on attack and I dropped the gloves and started fighting him right there. Turned into a huge fight people from the other end of the field ran over and started fighting. I think in one season I got into more fights then most kids do in highschool.

isn't fighting illegal and causes game suspension??? thats what my coach does..you fight then you are outta there

let me say this, in our games, if you drop your stick to hit a girl you sit the next 5 games! you get in a full fight and your gone.

yeah, i know alot of both guys and girls that make sure their D man knows who they are gaurding. me included....
