What can I say? We are hurt emotionally and phisacally!!!!!!!!!!!
With Terrell Owens gone for 4 games then not expected to play for the rest of the season it will be a tough run for the playoffs!!!! We need Westbrook, lewis, and brown to step it up quite a bit expecally without pinkston!

That is the link for the "TO situation"

So what I would like to know is what you guys think the Eagles should do with TO? I say trade him for another good receiver that dosnt care more about money than his team!

Same here. He is almost personally responsible for the eagles doing so bad this year. At this rate, they will probably not even make the playoffs, yet alone the superbowl. They need to trade him for another good reciever, and as much as I hate to say it, think about getting a new QB. McNabb can't keep playing hurt just because the back ups are horrible

Yes but even witht he injuries he still leads the league in yards and is tied for TDs

yea i'd have to say new receiver and QB i hear ladainian tomilson if up for grabs lol j/k but man 3 TD passes what an all round player i'd trade LT for TO anyday but in my opinion in think the eagles are out of the running this year McNabb must have some serious injuries after that play where he tried to fake spike the ball and TO is well what can i say but an egomaniac

For the record, im estatic. My Giants are sitting on top of the east, with a playoff shot, and the Eagles are stagnating at the bottom of the division. The real test of the giants mettle will be against the Cowboys later this year.

t.o. is just a disgusting player who brings controversey everywhere he plays.....i sure hope he doesnt come to oakland even though him and moss would be impossible to stop, he would just ruin the franchise

good. this is what happens to great talent that runs its mouth too much. I hope no one picks up TO and he realizes that although he is a great player, organizations are not willing to sacrifice team unity for oone great player. He needs to realize that football is a team sport and that without the other 10 guys out there, he would be nothing.

Mabey so, but they certainly can crush your pathetic ravens!
As for the next couple of games, look for Ws in the coloms of the Eagles! Reggie Brown is the new TO!!!! Yeah hes a rookie but he is still a beast! Last night he had 98 yds and a TD on 5 receptions! Also Yahoo fantasy sports reported that over 5000 people in diffrent leagues have added brown to their bench and over 4000 have them starting!!!!Give it time but once the chemestry between McNabb and Brown get set the Eagles are going to fly!

mmlaxplaya17

You do realize that if the Eagles do cut him they will have around 20 million under the cap to take a free shot at any free agent in the league! Can anyone say Shaun Alexander?

roycegracie47
11-07-2005, 03:45 PM
Well Georgia, 2 more articles popped about the same time addressing that same question of where he goes next. to paraphrase them both:

Packers: Has Brett Favre! but cheeseheads like their recievers "huggable"
Vikings: Got rid of Moss...nuff said
Raiders: Have Moss...nuff said
Lions: His favorite duo of Mariucci and Garcia, yeah right.
49ers: Burned that bridge
Ravens: Did that too

and you can of course see where it goes from there. Gibbs, Vermeil, Parcells and Schotty would never stand for anything and would most likely claim him off waivers to bench him (Just like Marty did to Prime Time) etc, etc, etc.

Eagles couldnt win with TO, so now well... Falcons could really use a reciever right now. Finneran, White, White, And Jenkins, cant do much. We need someone like Santana Moss, or Plaxico Burress, or hey Terrell Owens!!!

Because Westbrook can be put at slot wide reciever, after all westbrook is a running back and ranks 23rd in yards in the league!

Eagles have had alot of problems this year, i don't think it is just one persons fault. they're coming off of a loss in the superbowl that they could of won, TO was running his mouth all off season, they lost corey simon, McNabb has been injured on and off this season and has not been clicking with TO. i think we should get a new WR and move on and forget about this season, there has been too much drama. Hopefully next year will be better, I'm from detoit so i need to look forward to something, besides a kick *** hockey team and basketball team....

Mora will never stand for TO's attitude, and if he does, I have lost all respect for him. As for whether we could use him or not... no. Having such a great athlete at the quarterback spot, and a running back like Warrick Dunn, the defense has to cover the run enough that they leave receivers fairly open, and they dont need to make outstanding catches. Look at our passing stats anyhow. Vick is completing a littel over 50% which is fairly average, and we're not a huge passing team anyhow. so, no thanks to TO comin to Atlanta

I was born In Philly and lived there for a nearly half my life, and spend about a month of each year down there. But, unfortunatly due to complications with my dads job I had to leave the greatest city in the world to come up here to MI. But Ive always been an Eagles Fan!! and a Phillies fan, but Id prefer the redwings and the pistons! lol I like winners hehe

No doubt man, when you look at a team like the eagles who make the playoffs every year and have mroe wins than anyother team in the last 5 years its hard not to get sucked in, expecally with owens on the team!
Philly is a way over looked city in my opinion!!!! Seriously some people for get that Philly was our nations 1st capital and the dec. of Independence was signed there. But you got to try the water ice in Philly and untill you have, you haven't lived! Italiananos is best!!

4-4 matters eneough to put them at the bottom of the stack, and who gives a crap about last year, its exactly that-last year. Look at the Pats for a perfect example. They are going in a downward spiral, first pinkston, then McNabb 1st injury after getting jacked up in ATL, akers is out, then McN. had his hernia thing, now TO. Ouch, good luck even making it to the playoffs!

Head coach Andy Reid said Monday that Owens would be suspended four games under conduct detrimental to the team.

"Terrell Owens has been suspended by the team for four games for conduct detrimental to the team. He will not be returning to play for the team even after the conclusion of that suspension. The league has been notified by the Players Association that they will be grieving our right to take that action. Therefore there is nothing more I can say at this point. I do want it to be clear that this decision is a result of a large number of situations that accumulated over a long period of time, during which Terrell had been warned repeatedly about the consequences of his actions. Even with the activities that took place last week, we gave Terrell every opportunity to avoid this outcome."

eagles are in trouble. football is probably my 4th most followed sport, but even i can tell that there are anywhere from 1-3 teams that are looking better than them as of right now in the NFC East alone.

with the emphasis on "as of right now."

they still have the most potential talent of any team in teh division though, as i see it.

I posted this in another thread but im reposting it again so everyone sees it.

TO is an amazing football player. After seeing his apology I feel bad.
THIS IS TO EVERYONE WHO HATES TO NOW:
I completley blame all of what has happened to TO on his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Drew Rosenhaus has been known for causing contract conflicts.
Think before TO asked for more money on his contract, he was still arrogant but he wasn't like he is now. Just before TO asked for more money on his contract he dropped his former agent and signed with Drew Rosenhaus. Drew Rosenhaus is the best agent in the NFL for 1 reason, his players are payed THE MOST. Anyone remember why jerry Mcquire was a real jerk about money and everything? That was just after he had consulted Drew Rosenhaus. Drew Rosenhaus is the one that told TO to assert himself and to not stand down from what he wanted. I'M POSITIVE TO would have shut up if he had had his former agent.
