Personally, I feel like it's for little boys, IMO. It's way over used and usually to cover up hygiene issues. Get some real cologne if you're looking to smell good and not cheap. If you do use it, use it in moderation, you don’t need to spray half the can to smell it.

i know what you are saying. our locker room (at any of the schools) is the demon spawn of sweat+axe, which just smells HORRIBLE.

AXE is for children. Any real man takes the time to find a decent scent... I preffer the eddie bower stuff, which is really outdoorish....

And i do have a can of Addidas spray deoderant, but thats only when im like headed out of the gym or something.

Axe is way to "sweet" smelling. Not very masculine.

i have phoenix but dont really use it, because everyone else is using it in the locker room so all i have to do is stand there and soak it in. for real cologne the kirra stuff they sell in pac sun is really really good.

I really HATE axe. I cant stand the smell of it, especially after last year. My roommate, instead of taking a shower some days would take a shower in axe. He would spray himself for like 7 seconds, it was so horrible. Sometimes at night, he would just randomly spray that crap when our door was closed and I would open to door to get back into our room and the smell it like. I thought I got away from the axe, but there are a few kids here this year who also believe axe is the way to go. =(

axe is for people who cant get real cologne... and this makes me think of the pranks we play in the locker room... we will take a rookie or a freshman (whichever is around) and we hold them down and spray them with an entire can of axe before practice. man its funny

axe is god for after practice or something. i generally use real cologne in the morning and then after practice or working out ill spray on some axe. usually axe tsunami.

also i swear the tag stuff smells better

My brother sprayed a whole can of axe in my room... i had to open three windows when it was like 40 out. and dont try masking it with lysol, i couldnt go in my room for like 20 mins without hacking and making my eyes burn...

I use real cologne. I have a bottle of lacoste, a bottle of abercrombie, and a bottle of gucci. Depends on what clothes i'm wearing/what mood I'm in to determine which one i use lol.

I use Axe (Apollo) after PE class and Weightlifting class at school because I only have one period left every day after those classes. I really don't understand why people spray half a can on themselves all the time...I've had my one can of axe for like, two years now and its still not gone. Just a quick spray across the chest/neck and I'm good.
For special occassions (like dates) I have some sexy Calvin Klein cologne. It smells so good. Unfortunately the little money I get goes exclusively to lacrosse, so I can't afford much of the quality stuff.

ive had some bad experiences with axe

1)Had it sprayed in my eyes
2)Had it sprayed in my throat (unable to breath for 1 minute)
3) And then my friend sprayed it on the bus, and I got accused getting a 2 week "bus suspension"

yes dont spray it in your throat that hurts then you get sick. Do not apply to genitals. MY friend did during truth or dare and couldnt pee for 3 days

Apparently if you spray it on your nipple long enough you can flick it off. Not sure if its true though.
