Well since its the off season, i dont practice with my team, since that was wherei usually practiced shooting. Right now i dont have a goal, dont have the money to get a goal, but i really need to practice my shots. Any ideas on things i could use to improve my shot speed/accuracy? thanks

A fence or a something wooden preferably thin to prevent the ball breaking something.

I built a net for like 40 bucks, you might wnat to look into that... just some PVC pipe does the trick.
If you really cant, just take a tarp and hang/set it up somewhere. Then the balls wont bounce back or go flying off. Crude but it will work

Just don't leave them out in the rain they will grow mold and mildew and really stink as well as rust the coils and become useless alltogether.

I am in a similiar prediciment with no net. So when i shoot I have to go to my old town to the school yar where there is a giant brick wall. Yes it does come flying back at you, but it helps build reflexes.....a lot. Although I did take a nasty shot to the hip when i sneezed when I was going to catch it once.

Though I should be getting a goal soon...I normally shoot on the wall that I throw on. I have room to back up a good 20+ yards so that when it comes back I have a decent chance of stopping it...unfortunately, there are dense woods behind me, so if I don't stop it then, I'm pretty much screwed.
Shooting on the wall isn't that great for working on accuracy though.

Shoot at your parents car!!! they always love that! No just kidding, but i found a haybale on the side of the road once (long since expired) that i threw against. It worked pretty good.

If you don't shoot it at a wall, Go to a baseball field and pick out shots on the ballstops.

So basically you can throw at whatever you want. Just make sure you give yourself enough room to catch it when it comes back, and that theres something to aim at

My dad built me a metal goal out of scrap metel he found at the dump. The size isnt perfect, but it is pritty close and it works wounders. Then i just through an old tarp and hockey net over the back of it for a net. Cost nothing and works just fine.
