ummm. You might be interested in running, calisthenics, lifting, and throwing in some jump roping. If you are looking for speed in a particular event(200, 400) or if you just want to acqiure some extra speed, let me know and ill help you come up with a workout

I"ve always found that the best way to get faster initially is to increase your flexibility. From there running technique should be emphasized, you'd be surprise how many people don't know how to run correctly. A track coach would be the first person to talk to. From there, speed and agility, and plyometrics would be my recommendation. Of course there is a whole different progression within each of those areas too....

when you run, pump your arms. You'll be surprised, the faster you pump 'em the faster you'll go.

Get stronger in your core (knees to bottom of chest). If you think about it what moves your bones, your muscles. To move your muscles faster they have to contract faster which is getting stronger.
