i think as short as you want to or maybe to an attack shaft length, but you dont want it to short

it can be as short as an attack stick or as long as a d pole

go goalie, it makes it easier to throw it longer. A D shaft would b impossible to make saves with the shaft would get hit in the net. An attack might be ok but i would still go with a goalie sahft

well, i carry to shafts one goalie one attack length to switch it up once in a while
