View Full Version : Mann Cup DVDs
Hi all,
has anybody any experience with Lacrosse Media company?
I ordered Mann Cup DVDs in the summer (through www.thelacrossejournal.com), paid by PayPal, but did not get anything.
Another question: Are there any available boxlacrosse DVDs?
I'd like to collect some for Czech lacrosse players, especially
for young guys, we are still a litle bit in isolation.

War on the Floor (http://cgi.ebay.ca/War-on-the-Floor-Lacrosse-DVD_W0QQitemZ7196197266QQcategoryZ16043QQssPageNam eZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) - sometimes find them on eBay, amazon, etc. I would keep patient with eBay because lots of them come up:
OLA Instructional Videos (http://www.ontariolacrosse.com/listings.php?category_id=111) - you can order them from the OLA or view them on-line here: Lacrosse Fundamentals (http://eteamz.active.com/HalifaxLacrosse/links/) They are old school, but still pretty useful for the newbies or younger kids.
You may be able to purchase videos of 'OLA Game of the Week' by contacting Rogers Television (http://www.rogerstelevision.com/option.asp?lid=16&rid=28&tid=12181).
Cogeco Cable did the 2004 Mann Cup, so they might have copies for sale: Cogeco Peterborough (http://www.cogeco.ca/en/contact_community_channel_o.html)
Hopefully that will get you started. If you wanted the 05 Mann you would have to figure out who was doing the telecast and contact them.
Hey, I we would all appreciate it if you let us know how it goes!

As for the 2004 Mann Cup, same situation here. I wouldn't mind a word from Andrew or anyone at TLJ for that matter.

Petr:
There were a bunch of delays for a variety of reasons. I understand that most who ordered the DVD eventually got them, but that there are a number still outstanding.
If the lacrosse journal website is still active, I suggest you keep trying to contact the editor.

The owner of the Lacrosse Journal is a close friend of mine. Andy McKay, the guy who runs the magazine, is reliable in fulfiling his promises. But because of things beyond his control, some of the videos, as well as some other problems. Its not easy to start up a magazine from scratch and get this stuff all together, by yourself, not that its an excuse or anything...but you can understand that.
My suggestion, write Andy another email, and make sure that he knows that your video has not yet arrived. It couldn't hurt to get one more reminder out there.
