Read this post: http://lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=29159&highlight=creatine

And don't even think about taking creatine if you aren't lifting religiously.

1) when would i take it? look on the bottle for directions 2) does it really build muscle? Yes 3) and does it cause much wieght gain i dont want to lose my definition? You will gain some weight from water but as soon as you stop taking it you should lose that weight and if you lose any definition it will return

yea, creatine isnt good for you
it does build muscle my friend uses it
if you do want to use it
you use it before you work out
and after you work out you should drink a protein shake after
but i dont use creatine cause its not good for you
i just work out with drink like 1 or 2 protein shakes after

creatine inst bad for you, anything your body self produces couldnt be bad for you. your just getting it in a fairly large dosage. You should load up at first, about 30 grams a day for the first 4 days. then about 15 a day afterwords. You should drink it before your workouts along with alot of watter, always be drinking watter. and afterwords to replentish yourself.

it doenst build muscle by itself. What it does is enable you to control more weight, and when you are able to control more weight your muscles get strengthened and ussed to the amount of weight you are controlling. Therefore you get stronger and bigger muscles. After a while the effect will wear out. At this point stop taking creatine for a couple of weeks. Once its all out of your system and your on a normal workout rutien. Start it up again and you will see gains like you did when you first started taking it

creatine doesn't "build muscle" it gives you the means to do so, so in other words if you take it, and don't lift hardcore, you wont be seeing any changes. I take 5 grams once a day, any time really. You will gain "water weight" and may look bloated, but that will be gone when you are done your cycle.

if your lifting regulary, yes take it, it will help you out , some of the weight will be water wieght but eventually you will lose it , and you need a really good base of high protien before your gunna use this.Protien is whats used to make muscle ..sooo no protien=not alot of new muscle. but for those of you who dont know creatine helps produce more atp..bonds in atp are used for energy when phosphate groups are cut off , this give you more power to lift so you can lift more weight

creatine is good for you oh yes it is...which kind do you want to take Mono,Cee, effervenscent, pill, or liquid(liquid hasnt been known to be any good as of yet). theres loading phases and such..once you stop seeing results u can take a month off and cycle it for awhile..creatine isnt bad for you people that say it is probably arent drinking enough water or already have a creatine saturation if your running and doing alot of cardio creatine isnt recommended...you willg et bigger and stronger but u will loose mass after u stop taking it but you'll still be strong normally...a good creatine to start off with is creatine mono, dont take it when ur taking more than 10grams of glutamine since glut and creatine fight for something in your body i think atp and cancel each other out..so before creatine start with whey or other protein and if u feel the need for more start creatine if you wish...i hope this was somewhat helpful

no, creatine doesn't fight for atp. Creatine phosphate replaces a phosphate when, atp turns into adp.

They do do something and that something is work very well with eachother, the best and simplest supplament stack has said to be: protein, creatine, and glutamine.

i take it before my workout, but i dunno if thats just because of the kind i use of not. i Use xcience NOX-CG3, it is the best stuff in the world, it has NO2 for pump, creatine for strength, and glutamine for recovery. you might wanna consider it. also i havent seen any loss in defintion.

Who ever said creatine builds muscle is wrong. Creatine does not build muscle. All creatine is, is amino acids. The amino acids allow your muscles to retain more water. This may cause u to look buffer but it will not make u stronger. The water that is retained allows for you to go longer and harder with your workouts. And i agree with usclax, i also take nox-cg3 works real well noticeable diference

I don't beleive Creatine is an amino acid, I think its a phosphate, and it doesn't make you look buffer, but sort of "softer" or fatter. It helps because it allows you to lift mor weight and in turn you build more muscle. BelliesLax have you tried it? If not I honestly wouldn't comment in the fashion that you are.

if you use it too much then your body will become dependent on it...so then once you decide to get off of it and you work out you will realize how much harder it is to lift becuase your body is so use to having it in its system while you are working out
