which pa team will come from no where to become a top 15ish type of team. Last year GV came out of the del val and got some coverage, do u think there will be a team like that this year or is it just gonna be the sames teams as every year. Secondly, do you think GV will return to being a top 15 team? They lost their all american d pole but they still have a good attack, and a pretty descent team other than that. Their goalie i didnt think was really that good though, atleast compared to other "power house" teams.

GV lost too much. The D lost the pole who went to Cornell, and Matt Baker who transferred to Haverford Scohhol. They also lost a middie who was second team all state. Still could win the Del Val.

Maybe CB East will be this years GV, but they were very good last year as well.

yea, i will agree with laxmaster, cb east is supposed to be good this year, but we'll see how good first hand, they are our first game of the season this year. i played with baker in the keystone games, hes a good kid and a real good lax player. gv will be good this year but i dono about how good. they have some good kids, paul stolskie, ed doyle, some kid dean, i dont know his last name, and a few others. i played with all them at keystone, but the coach was the gv coach so of course all the gv kids that tryed out made it, but they will be solid this year.

I don't think GV will be as good this year. I think Kennett (my school) has a good chance at beating them, and I think we could win the Del Val (We got 2nd last year, but that was before I was there)

Garnet Valley came out of nowhere because they had the easiest schedule in the history of lacrosse... the played one good/ranked team and that was ridley who gave them their only loss..

Then why was GV ranked in the top 10 by the EPSLA coaches all last year? I think the coaches knew GV had some good players. What did you think of their team? Strengths and weaknesses? Best players?

they aren't that bad... skulski grew up in ridley and hes pretty good... they lost baker on defense but he was over-rated anyway...

Skulski is a very good multi sport athlete. Do you really think Baker was overrated? Word is he is was invited to Jake Reeds Blue Chip camp and will start at Haverford. GVs website shows he had 10 ground balls against Ridley. He cant be too bad??

GV lost all american longpole Jeff Whitman to Cornell, that is a bigger loss than Baker.

kennett is gonna be sick, but not as good as gv was last year. u guys have a nice d pole that is comparable to gv's dpole.

Are you talking about Colin? He is amazing with a pole, and good with a shorti playing mid too.
