Play this year or wait a year?

Hey guys, a couple weeks ago I heard about a lacrosse camp at school that was starting. Last Sunday was the first day of it, and as soon as I picked up a stick, I knew I wanted to play lacrosse, it is such an awesome game. After lacrosse that day, I came home and ordered a cheap shaft and head to get going. He also told us that day that he wanted to start a team at my school, he is the head coach of a school that is a 30 minute drive away, and lives close to our school. Earlier today at lacrosse, he told us he couldn't get a team started here this year, but will next year. He also told us that we could go down to that school he coaches at and play if we wanted to, but with that, we would have to drive to practice everyday after school, a 30 minute drive. So, since I have only been playing for like a week now, would it be worth it to play this year down there, or wait until the team is made here? Gas really isnt an issue. I kinda wanna go, the drive doesnt matter to me, I want the experience. What do you guys think?

Definitely go. Have a stick in your hand about an hour a day (pref. playing wallball) and the fundamentals skyrocket. The game's 100x cooler when you have stick skills and a head full of confidence...

and half an hours drive isnt that much really, just do someting on the ride, homework or sometihng
but its worth it

Kinda hard when I would be the one driving, haha, but its ok, Im going anyways. I love this game and ive only played for like a week now. Just got my stick friday, me and 3 friends have been going places and playing ball wall or just playing catch, its awesome.

Yea, I'm 15 and i just started over the summer. Alot of guys will telll you this, practice wall ball, because it helps alot. It certainly helped me and i still should be doing and i will continue to do it. And to answer your question, I would definately go. I fell in love witht his sport and i just can't get enough. I would definatley dive 30 mins to go and play for a team. It depends on how much you raelly want to play. If you have a strong desire to play the game of lacrosse 30 mins will be a mere pebble in your way. GO FOR IT!!!

yo, I drove 2.5 hrs to Canada twice a week to play.. there should be nothing holding u back.. I also fly all over the country to play any lax I can, so it's worth it while u can play... you won't regret it..
