Super Wierd Triton

So after tooling around with my buddy's Gait Triton, i decided that the head was super sick and bought one online.

When the head came, I noticed that something was wrong. The throat of the head i bought was completely different from my buddy's head. What's more, the way the sidewall tapers to the scoop of the head is way off from that of other Tritons. Also the head doesnt appear to be as pinched as other Tritons.

I know this head is a Triton, because it says so on the head. I also know its brand new because i got all of the warranty info and stuff. What should i do? Just break it and hope they give me back a new one that isnt messed up?

I think you and youre buddy have differnent genrations of the triton.

Weak. Do you think if I break it and send it in theyll send me a brand new one? or a stupid old one?

Dont, know depends on what generation Tritions you and your buddy has. Lol Naperville!! Lots of Naperville kids here at Iowa State.

hmm...post a pic of it and maybe someone who has a triton on TLF can compare.

Also, look at laxnation.com's review of it-lots of pics of the triton in it (and that would be the older one).

My GUESS would be that you have a newer version, and your buddy has an older. Usually, newer heads are widened a bit (look at the Answer, Razer, etc.), and since you just got yours, then it's probably a new one also. If that's the case, then it's going to be a really hard time finding the older one (ask anyone who wanted a first generation brine answer...it's as hard as hell). And if you break it, you'll get the newer version...which is most likely the one you have right now.
