What do you defenders like to see your midfielders do when they're playing defense?

I like to see them get their lazy asses back down the field and _play_ defense, for one.

talk lots and listen to what the d is telling them, if you tell a middie to send a dodger down the line and not cross field, thats exactly what you want them to do, so you can come over and nail them on the slide, if middies let them get acrosse field them the whole slide package is cactus

STOP SWEEPS. The most annoing thing that has ever happened to me. Ever. When a team is trying to sweep from midfield get in from of the guy and stop him.

communicate, get back and stop doing stupid take away checks... that's a pet peeve of mine, just because some middie wants to do some stupid check, and misses it, what could've been a slow break turns into a fast break.
Also, learn the slide package and learn how to play good body position defense, since those pretty widdle short sticks won't do 'em much good in terms of creating space.

I like to see a middie take the body on his man. Just something about it gives me comfort knowing that we have a middie on the field that can lay a guy out if he has too. Als, just a lot of hustle from a middie on defense is nice. If they don't know what theyre doing i can forgive them and ill tell them what to do but if there not hustling and they just get beat i get mad.

What do I like to see? I like to see middies poke check for once and stay in front of a guy. a lot of times the middies are doing one hand slaps and fansey crap, but if they poke check enough than they are a good middie!
