I play attack and ive played middie for 2 years and attack for 1 and goalie for 1, i dont have any goalie equipment and im low on cash(bout 75$). should i start to play goalie and if so what stick should i get???

BASED on the LOW ON CASH premise...
Ebay has STX goalmasters at $7.99 to $9.99--sure, they're dyed a hideous sprinkled black and white, but you can just dye black or white over it. Very affordable.
For throatguard--(firstoff, what kind of helmet do you have?) Cascade 1 throats are around 10 bucks. C2 and beyond are 25 bucks--through a catalog.
You can get a Krypto shaft for around 45-50 at ebay, or even a better deal at laxshopper.com. c405, cu31 and other alloys are also solid and affordable.
You really don't need an amazing chest protector. Just go with something that gets the job done. I STILL, to this day, use my old high school baseball catcher's chest protector.
You're probably over $75 with this plan, so you might have to sell a backup stick, do some chores around the house, or maybe even sell some plasma.
It'll be worth it in the end, though. Lax Goalie is the coolest position in sports.

Get the Goalmaster head first, as suggested. I've seen brand new ones for $20 or less. Just watch for outfits charging $15 for shipping, or selling unstrung heads (goalie string kits cost a lot more than those for regular sticks!).
As far as a shaft - I'd just reassign a spare attack shaft for now. If you want the extra length, maybe try to find someone who'll take cash for a bent D-shaft. If you only need to chop off a foot or two to get rid of the bent part, you might get a perfect goalshaft out of it.
I don't know jack about the other gear you'll need, so I'll leave that part to you.

If you really want to and your team really needs you, then yes. Goalie is arguably the most critcal position on the field and you need to be 100% into it. Not just anyone can do it though, that's why theres only a few per team..

when i played in the YMCA league i got kinda burnt out for a few reason. i really wanted to play attack but i was going against them and everyone on the team could only put me down as a player and now they want me to play again. im afraid(sp?) im gunna get burnt out on it again specially sense this time its for 7 more months and more practices and games.

If you are a confident type of guy, who is out-going, and has good reflexes, hand-eye coordination, and stick skills, I'd give it a go. If this other goalie is that bad, and the alternatives are few to none, you are being the TEAM player by STEPPING UP and taking the responsibility.
That's being a man. That's being THE man. IMO.

I definitely agree w/ RockStar, I used 2 different old d poles last year for my sticks, and a tip for stringing, if ur new at goalie, get sum1 else to do ur stringing or else get a strung head cuz i really messed up my head (a lafable bignasty wich i no longer use) by tryin to string it myself

My response is go for it. I live in NoVa. A neighboring highschool (not very good however) had an attackman who was switched to goalie freshman year. He has proved to be quite good, and is attending UVA on a (possibly full, I dont remember) scholarship for goalie. If you have quick hands and know the basics, no reason not to.
