Hey guys, tried to find something good to help me out on a pre-existing thread but it was a not go, and I figured this'll help WHEELAX feel better cause I'm a little tired of "How much and you bench, dude?" threads as well. So here goes:

First of all, I've only been playing for a little while, hence the need to ask. My team has started using a defensive call (i wont name it because I'm sure every team does is) where the goalie or coach will shout the command out and every defender (midis included) play their guys face up, with no heed to the ball, just making sure our individual men don't recieve the pass, while the guy playing the ball gets aggressive and tries to force a turnover.

For those of you out there who have experience running this sort of scheme, any tips on making it work smoother? Our main problem is figuring out how to comunicate better as far as who's sliding where when someone gets beat, etc.

sorry it's a little vague, but I'm just hoping for as much help as possible.

on my team the guy going against the guy with the ball yells out who's got my second and then the nearest person responds letting the guy guarding the ball know he has a slide coming. hope this helped

we call this lockoff on my team and we only use it on adjacent D, but have the guys on hte left and the right call that there ready to slide this will help you make sure people know whats going on
