I know I should never open up the simultaneous rule section because I always come away confused.

I think I am right with this: Ball is loose. crease violation on A. "Play-on!"
Now interference by B. Play-on stops. Whistle is blown. Ball goes back to the original offended team, B.

Page 81 AR 25 backs me up. And then the Play-on section on page 84 states that the original Playon is over when the offended team commits a violation.

For some crazy reason I was thinking my original scenario called for awarding by AP...because ball was loose.

ok.. I'm on offense, I step in the crease, and play on is called.. meaning that if my team picks up the ball, the other team gets the ball, but if they pick it up, the play on is off.. ok.. so the other team interferes with my team essentially another play on situation.. essentially my original play on awards the ball to the other team whether or not they pick it up.. assuming they don't commit a penalty, they should get the ball... so yeah, the defense gets the ball.

If you had truly simultaneous loose-ball technical fouls, or you just couldn't tell the order, then the ball should be awarded by A.P. Theoretically, this should happen with simultaneous dead ball technicals--like on a faceoff--except that I got them to add "(Exception: When a faceoff is pending in this situation, a faceoff will be held.)" this year. (It's not grayed out for some reason.)

You are correct. Think of the play-on in this scene this way...the offended team has a chance to pick up the ball or be awarded the ball as long as they don't do something silly such as a personal foul.
