What is a "finalizer dodge"?
I read in Inside Lacrosse that "Everyone is talking about it"

well, I think if you look in the sticky section, with the dodges thread to end all ... whatever, you might get a better Idea.. however it's a little hard to understand, so I'll try to lay it out for u.

generally, but not always, you will start the dodge form x.. you will carry the ball left handed paralell to goal line extended, then switch to righty, with your back to your defender, then sorta dip down with your shoulder quickly as you face your defender.. , almost as you switch to righty, the head of the stick dips in front of you, basically a split dodge then switch back to lefty and come around to the front of the goal..

in this video around 3/4 of the way into it.. after it gets silent for a few seconds, and while they are playing the yellow team .. think it's towson or albany.. you'll see him dodge from behind the goal, ,,, anyway, you'll see him being checked by a goalie then scoring, then you'll see him throw a back hander in, then he'll be behind the goal.. that's when he does the finalizer..

a few plays before the one where he makes the maryland or cornell guy fall in the net..

its basically running back and forth and X trying to get your dman to jump the crease and come after you and then then you dive and take a low shot to the corners i think thats the best i can explain it

basically doing a roll dodge behind the net and then split dodging when you get to the back end of the net.. making him either jump over it or trip over it
