wall ball, when you are like jogging or running take a lacrosse stick and cradle, and more wallball. Wall ball is like the most important thing u can do to get ready.

alot of drills and practice
and also, try to keep their spirit up
it doesnt help if they go into every game thinking they are goin to get creamed
you might want to go to the coaching forum for more help too

Yeah morals a big one. Keep them thinking they'll dominate. They will play better that way.

i didnt make the post " make others better". But i would just keep their moral up. Make it seem like your team is going to win, and they will play better. I would also have them spend time together and like play pick up games of lacrosse at the park and stuff. that will get them together and acting more like a team. Thats my 2 cents.

wallball with weighted stick
fill a stick with sand or rocks and play wallball
this will def improve ur shot speed
and tell the other people on the team to do this too

Use both hands, use both hands, use both hands, use both hands
Do some team bonding things--pizza parties, etc.
Prevent any "cliques" they destroy team unity and morale
Have kids play catch with each other before and after school/practice. Watch game tapes, be positive, compliment each other on strengths, etc.
Push yourself to failure in practice--working on absolutely PERFECT fundamentals.
and HAVE FUN!!

start practices on weekends or something where you will help the kids who aren't as good at lacrosse.

If my teams second year (last year) was any indication, try to win a few games, but dont go too nuts over win/loss record. Play as much as you possibly can, practice, practice, practice. I know this has been said but: USE BOTH HANDS!
