All players on a team must wear gloves of the same dominant color unless safety reasons require a different color to be worn

So, first of all, if my gloves are mostly dark blue and have some white, and my teammates' gloves are mostly dark blue and have some green, that's legal.

But what I want to know is, when would safety reasons require me to wear a different color. "I'd wear dark blue gloves, man, but they're too freakin' dangerous!" Huh?

What if somone on your team is really stupid and thinks that your another player although the chances of that are like zero to 1. Still the rule makings guys think they have to keep making rules to keep a good public face.

By definition, the probabilty of anything is between 0 and 1.

I'm guessing something like a player has gloves that meet the matching uniform color standard but are otherwise illegal (e.g. cut palms). In this case, if the only other pair of gloves available at the moment for the player are gloves that are safety-legal but technically not color-legal, then safety reasons prevail.

In any case, it's still a very poorly worded rule revision, which then opens the door for interpretation arguement.

well.... the only reason i can think of for that is telling your teammates apart by looking at gloves, but that doesnt explain for safety. So i dont know.
