Hello Everyone:

Yes you read it correctly, The Les's Fund Initiative selling Lisa's Beads raised overr $1800.00 BIG ONES!!!

Thanks to all of you, we can't express how wonderful it is to have such a success on our first night thanks for all of your support

Here's Les Barltley standing in front of the tables for more then an hour signing autographs and meeting people. Folks he's still the coach and still the leader. Thanks Les.

We came with over 400 bracelets and we sold colours from all the NLL teams.

Thankyou, too, to all of you who took Canadian Cancer Sociiety donations envelopes for Les's Fund.

Taylor, Spencer, Shannon, and Kristie as well as KarBear's daughter Christina and friend were bracelet making machines by the 4th quarter..thanks Karen,Christina and friend.

Trooper and Section103fan from Philly were relentless in there help at the table thankyou ladies.

Taylor, Spencer, Kristie, Shannon, Hannah and parents Nancy and Doug. I've saved the best for last, with out your vision and help this would in no way be possible.

Folks on March 12th we are going to have an even larger assortment of sizes of Rock and NLL bracelets, with a NLL Pack of bracelets of all 10 teams available for $50.00. Also for March 12th Les wants to bring some special souvenirs for photo opps and be available for autographs.

Rochester we need some of you at the table, it wouldn't be right if you weren't there. Why...because we are all in this together!

Calgary we are coming on April 2 for the Rock/Roughie game...we are bringing 100 bracelets... I need to know your local cancer hospital or Cancer society to donate too. Barks can you help me.

Well that's it...so far we'll keep you posted on more up coming events.

Great job Jare! We're attempting to meet those numbers here in Philly, but we're still a few weeks behind where you are right now. So far, we've only been officially able to raise $700+, but most likely have near $900 total. Pretty soon, we're going to have a huge auction available for people to check out. We have a few items on sale now from the Philadelphia Wings players. If anyone cares to check this out....go here: Les's Fund Philly Auction #1 (http://www.wingslacrosse.com/article.php?sid=176&mode=thread&order=1)

Hooligan:

Trooper and Section103fan were up to Toronto to help us out, what a great time we had.

I have no doubt we are going to raise some substantial money to fight cancer. :clap

Let's keep this ball rolling, I'm hoping to have some items up for auction in a week or two.

Great job jare, you gave me a chance to do a good deed and meet a guy I dream about playing for...les.... It was an honour to shake his hand, andhe chatted with every fan who came by and offered him words of encouragement..... As for the bracelets, a little girl next to me wanted more than one, after I had made a personal donation in an enveloppe, I offered to her father to get one, as I wanted to encourage the girls, but had no real use for the bracelet, The father already had gotten two, but she wanted the canadian teams, so I helped out, hey WTH, it's for a great cause. I figured i'd make 3 little girls happy instead of 2, the ladies helping you were superb andvery thankful...... There couldn't be a better team working on this fund, best wishes, NICK !!!!
