Lax in Raliegh

I am moving to Raliegh and right now it is looking like i will got to Athens, if I dont apply to Enloe. Is this a strong lacrosse program? And where can i get lax equipment in Raliegh/Cary?

I think I've heard about Athens being pretty decent...I'm not sure though.

ya sane here ive heard athens has a pretty good team, i wouldnt go as far out to say their one of the best in state cause ive only caught glimpses of one of their games in a tourney, but theres a few people on here from that area that im sure could tell you more

I've got lots of stuff for sale. Check out my for sale section. But yeah play it again sports here in Chapel Hill has some pretty good stuff, and ****s sporting goods in Durham right off 1-40 normally has a pretty good selection of lacrosse stuff for sale.

great atlantics distributing center is right in raliegh/hilsboro. they arent open much tho. you can always go to ****s. hmmm apex is alot stronger then athens but, thats prolly out of the option for you. (apex won states last year. jv was undefeated, and varsity lost one game the whole season but beat east chapel hill i think in the states).

Yah Apex is the the big team here in Raleigh area. A thens team isnt that good.Great Atlantic is the biggest distributor around here.

i heard athens was pretty bad and we (charlotte Catholic) beat enloe something like 19-1
but i dont really knwo anything about athens

in raleigh are there school zoning restrictions or is it like charlotte where as long as you can get a ride you can go to school wherever.....& where do u have to lvie if there is to play for athens?cause my fa. might be moving to raleigh area & this will greatly affect our decision as to where to move cause i want a chance to play w/ the best

change of plans. i am now going to be going to Southeast Raleigh and according to Laxpower.com they are better than Athens Drive which, along with Enloe is out of the picture. Does anyone know anything about Southeast?

Ive also heard that Apex is not that great academically from a number of family members i have in the triangle area. but the house we bought is districted into Southeast. Does all of Wake county have block scheduling :thumbsdow

Southeast isnt known for their lacrosse. actually i dont know that much about them

i go to green hope and played on the lacrosse team there (only varsity) be happy that you are going to apex instead of athens if you are intersted in lacrosse. they have a good coach, even if he is a bit of a dick. and still be contenders. they have one of the best defenders in the state rossi thorton. but green hope might jsut have to beat apex this year so watch out :naughty:
