Alright, I was wondering how I compare to other HS lax players around the country (you can still post if you're not in HS), so how fast do you guys run the 40, 100, mile, etc.?

My times (@ beginning of "conditioning"):

40 Yard Dash: 5 sec.
100 Yard Dash: 11.4 sec
Mile: 6:24 min.

I'm a 6'0" 170 lb sophomore.

NOTE: Please DO NOT turn this into a thread bragging about how fast you are or putting other people down for their times. It was created so people could compare themselves to other players and motivate themselves to become faster.

Really? I don't see why it would, it's not meant to be a venue for people to brag about themselves.

Only if it DOES turn into a bragging session does it get shut down. Just to clarify.

Carry on.

I'm not sure, but I'd guess 45-55 yards, don't take my word for it though.

Thanks shifty.

i believe you are correct. anyways i cant remember my exact times for some of these. 40 and 100 i cant remember at all cuz i avnt actually timed myself when i was feeling my best in a while. my best mile was somewhere between 530 and 6 i think, and my three mile was 22 or 23. im trying to get it down to under 20 before season.

Really? I tried searching, but nothing came up. I'll try again and post the link if I find it.

EDIT: Found it, http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=9080&highlight=sprint+time, but it's just 40-yard dash times.

How many yards is a high school basketball court? I know it sounds off topic but i need to know to find out my time.According to one website:
Dimensions for basketball courts are as follows:

#1 NBA/NCAA - regulation basketball court dimension is 94' long by 50' wide.

#2 High School basketball court dimension measure 84' long by 50' wide.

#3 Jr. High School basketball court dimension measure 74' long and 42' wide.1 yd = 3 ft, so your HS b-ball court is likely 28y x 16 2/3y.
umm there is already a hugh[sic] thread about thisThanks for pointing that out Goldenbears.

The infamous 40y dash thread:

^^^You dont just go from a 5.4 to a 3.7....unless you're Reggie Bush or somone like that.

My 40 was 5.2....horrible. The nI started pulling enourmous tractor tires about 5 billiion times....Now my time is 4.87

Were you being timed by hand or by a machine? Because if you could run a 4.3 as a FRESHMAN, then you're clearly faster than Terrell Owens.
