ive got a bet with my friend going. If you can do reps and sets of 40 lb dumbells in each hand for chest press, what is roughly ur max? He says 135.

well that depends on a lot. i bench more than 135 and i dont think i could do a 40lb chest press (5'6 125).

Im not quite positive of what your talking about. in my hs weightroom, we have a chest press that has 18 lb per arm bars, and I add 45 lbs to each side, so 90+36= 126. Also, im not very strong (5'9 137)
