Thats craziness. 10,000 people for just a team scrimmage? Good to see lax is going to have a good start in Portland

The Ravens had 12,000+ for a few games in there first season. 10,000+ for second season only over 12,000 vs the Rock. Third season 8,000 to 5,500 each season dropped in attendance as the owner put less and less money into advertising. now as for GOON im sure you ment good since your whole post is full of spelling errors :nut:

its great that 10,000 showed up. I bet it was the first time alot of those people were seeing a lax game.....and i bet they all enjoyed. It was a great idea to give people a free sample of what is to come....i think many of those 10,000 will return and bring their friends with them.

If they got 10,000 people to show up, and they put on a show, then they have a pretty good chance to get most of those ten thousand to come back. Who comes back is what we're really interested in.

I agree with you in the advertising for Vancouver but I don't think Portland will end up with the same fate as Vancouver. Angela Batinovich seems pretty content to pump money into this franchise.
Also, I can't see the players putting on a bad show for the 10000+ that came out considering they were all trying out for the team still which is good. I hope Box catches on there so the NLL can grow.

Yeah, lacrosse is really growing up there. Beaverton has a youth league, which is growing very fast. Just wish i still lived there.
