No i'm not. The Thunderbirdsarenow! Are a much better pop punk band than Fall Out Boy will ever be able to be.

If i see it on anyones list, i'm gonna do nothing, but not read the rest of that person's list if they honestly think that.

Waaaaah, I'm a music nerd! Waaaah!

Not everyone likes fuzzy happy trendy buzz crap.

Some of us like angry rock like Silvertide and Seether.

Or Our Lady Peace. Whose new album has some great songs and some marginal songs, but excellent lyrics.

I'd start a thread on best novel of 2005 but I bet everyone would put frickin DaVinci Code or something like that.

I'm an elitist book nerd.

I guess I can't complain about your level 23 Aural Paladin status. Yay elitism!

Some people (enjoi) can't seem to realize that everyone likes different stuff. I dislike a lot of the things on his list, but I'm not gonna say that the bands are terrible. Listen to what you like, don't listen to what you don't like. Just because you don't like a band you don't have to badmouth them, just don't buy their cd.

:rolling eyes dude: ROLLING. EYES. I don't listen to JUST trendy stuff, its just i don't listen to what the RIAA shoves down my throat unless it shows up on a critics best of list. I don't like the RIAA and i try to give them as little money as possible, not that i can make a difference, but because i feel most bands signed to major labels well aren't that good or original.
THIS IS NOT TRUE ABOUT ALL MAJOR LABEL BANDS, YES THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS.

I'm an elitist book nerd.
HA HA! YOU CAN'T TALK!

*sigh*
OPINION. I will gladly badmouth a band I have heard and I think sounds bad. If they sounded good, or original, I would listen to them. If they sound like everyone else and i listened to the album, I will bad mouth 'em. I don't see a problem with it, its having AN OPINION.

Can a novel fan really be an elitist if they think any book of 2005 was decent? Novels have sucked very badly lately.

i havent read that book, but i did read angels and demons, and i didnt think it was anything exceptional. i viewed it as an ok book, but it could be because with all the hype those two books were getting my expectations were too great.

Sure, but most of the time it's because that persons opinion is "OMG RAP SUCKZORS"......I respect everyone's opinions, but I can't stand cliche or unfounded opinon.

1. American Idiot by Green Day was good until everyone bought it.

RJD2 and Aceyalone Accused of Infecting Over 500,000 Networks With Malicious Rootkit

Three days ago, it hit me. The tickle at the back of my throat indicated that I would soon be under the full assault of a dastardly sore throat. Early the next morning, I awoke with the sensation of fiery swords of death piercing my esophagus, coupled with a splintering headache, stuffy nose, and continuous stream of snot and boogers. That's probably a bit more than you cared to know, dedicated reader, but I figured an explanation was necessary for why I haven't bothered to write this story until now. You see, today was the first day that I started to feel better.

In fact I felt so good that I was able to conjure up the gusto to inform you that Aceyalone and RJD2 will be joining forces to create some sort of two-headed MC/Production monstrosity that will be fully equipped and primed to rock your infantile cranium. More specifically, the duo will be collaborating on Acey's newest album entitled Magnificent City, which is obviously a reference to "munroe town," the delightful utopia whereupon I am crowned the "ultimate pirate" and am given my own jet ski, complete with side-panel rocket launcher and beer fridge.

Speculation has reached a fever pitch over what the group's name will be, and while there have been some names tossed around the TMT office, none of them have been any good. The absolute worst had to have been RaceyJaloneD2, which I'll attribute to a lack of sleep and one too many coffees. Well that, and the staggering amount of cold medication I have consumed over the past few days. I felt bad until I heard the musicians themselves were tossing around ACD2, which immediately dissipated my feelings of embarrassment. Thankfully, the final decision was to stick with Aceyalone and just give RJ the production credit.

The album should be in store shelves on February the 7th.

Tracklisting for Munroe Town:

1. All For U
2. Fire
3. Cornbread, Eddy And Me
4. Mooore
5. Supahero
6. Highlife
7. Disconnected
8. Caged Bird
9. Solomon Jones
10. A Sunday Mystery
11. Junior
12. Heaven
13. Here & Now
14. A Beautiful Mine

Oh, and let's not forget about RJD2 dates. According to the dollar sign below, Aceyalone will be joining RJD2 for some shows.

12.03.05 - Portland OR - Holocene
12.04.05 - Berkeley, CA - Pauly Ballroom #

#1-10 Mogwai - Government Commissions

They are my hallmark band at the moment having introduced me to a genre which has become my favorite. From them I have been finding a lot of very different and most excellent music. Also, Government Commissions was the first album I found having recieved it from a friend right when it came out and is an excellent album.
