ohh well maybe not for your mom

but overall good stress relievers are being the living crap out of like an old car or crapped-out washing machine with a pic axe.
Also, fires relax me a real lot, like just spraying some axe on some paper and burning it on the driveway, it just calms me down

for your mom, just bear with her, things will get better, dont worry

incense and scented candles along with a nice bubble bath. also chipping in for an xmas present to a spa or something couldn't hurt, could it?

Just go ride your bike or play wallball or do one of your favorite activities.

also, this probably wouldnt be good for your mom to do, but when i get stressed i go out and shoot as hard as i can at my goal, it helps quite a bit. or go fishing, nice and relaxing, just you the water and the fish...

To deal with your stress from her, go beat something. Punching bags are good, I advise you get one. To help her with her stress, just do what she says, always address her in a very calm manner, and just tread carefully. When parents are a lit fuse, you wanna make yourself look as good as possible so they don't spazz on you. If it's unbearable, tell her that she's stressed and needs to do something about it in a polite way. Save up a little cash and get her a massage appointment and if you can, a day at the spa. I assure you it will chill her out at least temporarily.

If you play drums, just bang it really loudly like crazy! Or put your pillow on your face and scream really loudly, anything that gets your heart rate going faster will kinda help. Or you can always listen to music, music is a very use and important part in peoples lives.

Personally, I roundhouse-kick babies when I'm stressed out.

I do the same thing, but afterwards I eat them. It's totally relaxing.

Tell her to go read a book or listen to some calming music

If you know wht type of music she likes, play that when she is in the house. Also get one of those stress balls for her. Help her with the cooking. This way she has no reason for shouting at you and you can take some of the stress off of her. What time does your mother go to sleep at? The earlier she goes to sleep, the more sleep she gets and has more recovery time for her body.

For your mom...no...
You may not want to suggest excercise as women never want to hear they should excercise...thats like getting your girlfriend a gift certificate to a plastic surgeon...nothing good can come out of it...

Me...I play lax and drink...thats how I get rid of stress...oh...and tea...good loose tea not the lipton crap...

when i'm stressed out, i go outside with an old lacrosse shaft and smash it into the grass over and over until i'm satisfied.

another fun thing to do is to build a box out of wood and nails. it calms you down. just a plain cube. then get a hammer and smash the heck out of it.
