--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am a coach at Pennsbury High School. We are a young program in Fairless Hills, PA (about an hour north of Philadelphia)

This past fall one of our players was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma and is going through extensive treatment. Our program has set up a Holiday Tournament called LAX 4 LIVES to benefit his family and help fund cancer research. Lax 4 Lives (http://www.lax4lives.com)

If you would like your team to participate in our event or if you feel you could help out in anyway, through donations, please contact me. 100% of the proceeds will go towards our cause. You can find more info and more logistics on our website

This tourney sounds really sweet. I'll defiently talk to my coach about setting up a team. I have one question, what is the level of competition at this tournement? And what are the specifics of the actual game-day operations? Like when does it start, end...stuff like that.

Great Idea.

Yea, I'm a girl too. I could always tell some guys I know. Yep, my prayers are with him. I hope he's gonna be ok. Tell him to Livestrong. It always helps me feel a little better. I hope for the best.

Thank you all for your support. We will have two seperate sessions teams can play at. 8am -230pm and 3pm-10pm. We did this to accomidate teams coming from out of town. Our main goal is to play some good lax for a good casue. Teams will be placed in a 5 team group you are guaranteed 4- 25 minute games Plus at least one playoff. We have tons of items that have been donated and will be raffled off during the day. We have recieved donations from major equiptment suppliers, unviversities, The Philadelphia Eagles ( Westbrook signed football) and the Barrage. It is shaping up to be a great day. We are inviting all boys Varsity and Club teams to come out and compete. If you look at the HS section on the IL homepage there is more info on the casue.
