when my school started we were one of the first lax programs in our part of the state so it was intresting. there was a new kid from out east that played and make a club. we found a coach (former su player). we had one good kid and the rest never played before. we did pretty good ending up with a winning record. there was one huge fight that got half the team suspended and almost cancelled the rest of the season.

Look at it this way...you can't be any worse than Lake Norman.

I was an assistant coach for a club team three years ago. We had a win in our final game by an impressive score of 2-1.
Granted EVERYBODY was fresh and just picked up a stick at the beginning of the season.

My team used to be combined with laxforlife003's team, but now we split. We did o.k. we had more than half brand new players, and we were just under .500. This year we'll be better, just make sure you have dedicated players and a solid coach.

Our club team was great we didnt have anybody who had ever played lacrosse before(INCLUDING ME) so it was great to atracct some people from other schools who didnt have any lacrosse programs going. this really helped with learning because the experienced players gave us a cruch to lean on while teaching us how to play.

I really miss playing club. I was in 8th grade and played with all of the hardcore giants. Didnt get much playing time except for a tourny game where everybody was at prom. Good times. Now we went on to Varsity. Each team has its pros and cons but either way, Its Lacrosse.
