for mid u have to use between 30 and 32 inches right?

A good rule of thumb for the length of a d-shaft is the top of the head should reach the players nose when the stick is perpendicular on the floor.
I'm assuming that since the players Dad is cutting the shaft for him, this player isn’t done growing. If you cut it that short now, it might be a few inches too short by the time spring is here. If it’s an aluminum shaft that isn’t expensive, that won’t be a big deal, you can always get another one once he outgrows it. If it’s a high-end shaft, you might want to leave a little growing room.

5'2 is really short. 60 inches is a full long pole. How is that what you use? the long pole is like taller than u for long pole middie????!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!

i know, im really short...but for some reason im just better with the 60 incher than anything else but a total shortie...

the only time i use a shortie is at attack.

60 inches gives you good reach and if your pole is light enough, i use a c555 debeer d stick, than it should be that bad and I'm 5'7 in college.

cheap alternative is a warrior platinum. Light and durable for d middie even though they break once in a while, nice d middie shaft.

If you dont want to go all out LSM use a goalie shaft or a regular short pole.
