I'm not exactly an expert on goalie equipment(Im an attackman). But if I was a goalie I would want to get the lightest Shaft out there. Because at goalie your shaft barely gets hit so you dont have to worry about strength. Right?

no neither or those are really the best choices for a goalie IMO
neither is goalie length, as most field goalies like to take advatage of the extra shaft length for long passing
also both of those are top of the line attack shafts, but not very light, and you really would be wasting money on a howitzer as it is specially made for shooting
stay simple and get a gait db803, the lightest shaft out
or if you wanted composite, harrow goalie

803 or Klyte.
For composite, I agree with keenan (Harrow goalie is probably the only composite goal stick you can get)

actually, i dont think they cut out metal on the inside like the attack version, so the db803 goalie isnt the lightest. But i would say, kryptolyte(regular, not pro) is your best choice, but ive seen a lot of goalies using a titan classic, whichever you like better. kryptolytes lighter though
btw get a goalie length(40 inches)

I have a goalie krypto and I've had it for 3 seasons. I don't think it has any dents(no big ones anyways). Like said above goalie's don't get check much, and a ball rarely will dent a metal shaft. So I say go with a krypto or db803 or the harrow goalie. Make sure to get the goalie length. It's really helpful. It gives you more leverage so your outlets can be hard and far and it makes your stick topheavy, which is something I like for saves.

803 and eclipse. unstoppable combination.
I've personally tried a Sentinel, Eclipse, and Guardian. I've fooled around with a Nemesis, but never in goal. I say the Eclipse is still the best one on the market. Granted, the Guardian is lighter than the Eclipse (and even moreso when you take off the rubber stuff) but theres just something about it I didn't like, so I switched back to my Eclipse after about 2 weeks.

ok so im probobly gunna get 803 but i herd the new stx are nice and light like the Vanadium Zirconium Crankshaft 10 Crankshaft 2 Premier Scandium Steel 7000 do u think those would be good

Those are not goalie shafts. And I don't know if the crankshafts would even work good on a goalie head. Get the 803 and make sure get GOALIE length. If it's too long you can always cut it down a bit, but that extra length really does help.

For girls it can be 48 inches, and you generally come up a little short with an attack length. But that's more of a random fact than anything.
The new STX shafts are untested and probably expensive. Stick it what's known to be good.

If you leave the shaft uncut, yes. Maximum length for a goalie stick in wlax is 48 inches.
Edit: I didn't see that Garor already mentioned max length for a women's goalie stick. Though, apparently neither did you :D

Personally, I think the Harrow goalie is a bit unnecessary. Especially since you play women's lacrosse, you're not going to need extra strength. It's not like you'll be taking checks.
Oh well. This is undoubtedly my aversion to throwing down 100+ for a shaft that I won't use to its full potential combined with the fact that I actually like my al6000pro.
