first, debeer makes the triax

second, your probally not going to need a Ti shaft for goal. you dont get hit that much.

all the goalies on my team use the kpro or Kalloy, it seems to be pretty popular.

my bad...i read my list wrong

umm...yea..i dunno, i just basically went on lax.com/shop and looked for sticks with good ratings and reviews...

and i guess u can add the db803 to the list...but i've heard that it breaks easily

i have used the CU31 and it is ok it is a good shaft for a biginer and I am sure it would be good for a golie because like coltslax said you dont get hit that much. I personally woud go with the kryptolite for a golie

It's all preference. You really don't need a tough shaft unless you are a goalie who likes to abuse their sticks, and by abuse, I mean constantly slamming their stick everywhere. Most goalies’ I know go with a light shaft (kpro, klyte, 803), as do I. There is really no need for a Ti shaft even if you do come out of the crease a lot, you just simply do not get hit as often or take the beating to your shaft as other field players do.

Like I said, the only time you end up in a situation where you shaft is truly wrecked is really when you start slamming it places. You get the every so often times where you get a few bad checks and it breaks, but that's rare compared to when they break because of the own users fault. I have a friend (girl) who has gone through about 3 Kpros in just a few months (anything from having huge bends to big cracks), and it's not because the other girls check hard, it's because she is constantly killing her shaft against the pipes.

Out of the few that you have listed, I would go with the Kpro/klyte or 803. The one main thing though is if you can, to go try them out. The 803 is known to have a weird grip that some just don't like. If you're interested in the Triax, check out that shape too, it's a little different. You might also want to look into the new STX handle if you're seriously entertaining all options. You're best bet right now would be go and test them out, and see what feels best. Then decide if you want it. Make a list and go from there, it's really hard for us to suggest a shaft besides the strength of one because everyone likes something different. Some people prefer top-heavy sticks, others like pretty even ones. So just see if you can go out and test the feel of all the shafts and decide what's best for you.
