Leathers tight or loose?

For all the stringers out there....

When you string Custom traditionals, do you string the pocket with the leathers tight, or do you leave them at the depth you want your pocket to be the whole time?

I know that i like mine to be loose.

If you use the ball and knife trick, the leathers are right where they need to be. Thats what I use.

Outers reall tight tioght like a tiger. And the inners as loose as my pocket depth

I like to keep mine pretty loose so that I can get the knots over more of the leather

do you think that this could go either way, depending on what kind of pocket you string? when i string traditional or a DT Threat i like to keep my pocket tight, but i keep the leathers loose for everything else.

for me it depends on the pinch of the head. on my proton the outer leathers(im guessing these are what were speakin about) are tight and on my triton they are looser.

i keep all the leathers tight and pull the nylons tight to that way i don't have a sloppy looking pocket
